On Monday, we welcomed top Australian golfer Minjee Lee and 28 young golf talents from the Singapore Golf Association for an engaging ‘In Conversation With’ session in the Hybrid Broadcast Studio at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre. As one of the world’s most consistent players, Lee shared invaluable insights from her journey, offering a glimpse into the mindset of the 10-time Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour champion. As the first female brand ambassador of our parent company, Las Vegas Sands, Lee inspires communities by highlighting the success stories of female role models. During this dialogue, Lee shared mental focus strategies, including techniques to centre her mind and ensure a single bad shot doesn’t derail her entire game. Launched in 2014, ‘In Conversation With’ is a Sands Cares initiative that empowers communities by igniting their ambition. This platform has connected young minds with over 40 distinguished figures across diverse fields. We are committed to fostering meaningful opportunities that inspire. By leveraging our unique resources as an integrated resort, we continue to create experiences that leave a lasting impact. #SandsCares #MarinaBaySands #MICEMBS

Sustainability begins with action, and we champion those who lead the charge. As part of our Honouring Environmentally Responsible Operations (HERO) Award, an internal challenge that empowers Team Members to propose innovative sustainability solutions at the workplace, we recognised three outstanding teams whose ideas have now been implemented across our resort. These include a recycling system that collects and tracks recyclable hotel amenities, a programme to reduce food wastage on property, and a long-term plan to increase the use of cage-free eggs at our restaurants. Their reward was an enriching incentive trip last month to Batam, Indonesia – where they immersed themselves in the island’s rich biodiversity. In collaboration with our partner Seven Clean Seas, 30 Team Members engaged in a meaningful beach clean-up at one of Batam’s oldest fishing villages, tackling plastic waste at its source. The teams also visited Seven Clean Seas' material recovery facility to witness firsthand how waste is processed and repurposed, deepening their understanding of circular solutions. During the trip, our Team Members explored Panbil Nature Reserve, where they fed Sambar Deer, hiked to a hidden freshwater stream, and practised outdoor archery. This trip was an inspiring reminder that sustainability isn’t just about being responsible. It’s about discovery and a shared purpose to drive meaningful change together. #MarinaBaySands #SandsECO360

Introducing Jin Ting Wan, the next exciting chapter in our culinary evolution. As the first Chinese restaurant to be developed, branded and managed exclusively by Marina Bay Sands, this Cantonese fine dining destination – set to debut this summer – is a bold milestone in our legacy of excellence. Perched on Level 55 of Hotel Tower 1, Jin Ting Wan will be Singapore’s highest Cantonese fine dining restaurant, offering dual panoramic views of the city skyline and the sea. Its name, which translates to Golden Dragonfly, is a poetic nod to our location. The restaurant’s interior pays homage to its name, with intricate dragonfly motifs woven into décor that blends contemporary themes with oriental details. Jin Ting Wan will showcase the finest expressions of Cantonese cuisine, an in-house tea and spirits programme, one of Singapore’s largest collections of Chinese fine wines as well as some of the rarest vintages, available exclusively at the restaurant. “Our sights have always been set on elevating dining in a way that defines us as the world’s leading integrated resort. Jin Ting Wan brings us closer to this vision, and we have ambitions to deliver unparalleled dining experiences that will set new industry benchmarks,” said Tane Picken, Senior Vice President and Chief Hospitality Officer at Marina Bay Sands. Last month, we transformed into a vibrant hub for the arts when ‘Where Art Takes Shape’ made its highly anticipated return for 11 days. The third instalment of the festival featured a diverse tapestry of curated activities around the integrated resort. The centrepiece of the festival was ART SG, the leading international art fair in Singapore and Southeast Asia. This year’s edition brought together 106 outstanding galleries from 30 countries at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Attendees enjoyed contemporary art, insightful talks, and a captivating film programme curated in partnership with ArtScience Museum. The exploration of transformative cultural narratives continued with Behind the Canvas Series 1: Jean-Michel Basquiat, an immersive experience delving into the American artist’s creative process. Art also delighted the senses at Culinary Curations, where our chefs crafted exquisite dishes and exclusive tipples inspired by the festival’s vibrant key visuals. ‘Where Art Takes Shape’ was a bold celebration of art in all its forms, underscoring our commitment to enriching Singapore’s cultural landscape. #MarinaBaySands #WhereArtTakesShape

Two weeks ago, our Team Member volunteers partnered with Care Community Services Society to bring festive cheer to seniors at CareElderly@Golden Ginger. The celebration was a heartwarming way to mark Chinese New Year, with activities such as themed games, light exercises set to festive songs, and special performances of classic Chinese hits. The event culminated with the tossing of yusheng, a beloved tradition symbolising prosperity. Thank you to Care Community Services Society for co-organising this meaningful event with us. Moments like these remind us of the true spirit of Chinese New Year – coming together as a community to spread warmth, happiness, and good fortune. #MarinaBaySands #SandsCares

Recently, we proudly achieved the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and were recertified under ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Management Systems – both globally recognised standards for effective environmental stewardship. ISO 14001 provides a structured framework for organisations to develop, implement, and continuously improve their environmental management systems, thereby reducing their environmental impact, while ISO 20121 guides organisations to integrate sustainability into their event planning. To meet these rigorous standards, we enhanced our sustainability initiatives across property – from boosting energy efficiency and optimising waste management to conserving water and sourcing food responsibly. This certification marks an important milestone in our ongoing journey to integrate sustainability in everything we do. #MarinaBaySands #SandsECO360

Last night, we welcomed the Year of the Snake by lighting up our property with our annual Chinese New Year extravaganza. Showcased at The Shoppes, Chinese New Year Light Up: A Celebration of Bold Beginnings featured the awe-inspiring reveal of our bold and vibrant chandelier of blessings. Inspired by the elegance of the snake, the regal backdrop spotlights Chinese couplets cascading down from snakes flowing in motion, embodying grace and prosperity. Singer-songwriter Cheryl K, known for her soundtrack on the award-winning Crazy Rich Asians film, headlined the show with iconic renditions of classic Chinese hits. A variety of performances joined the line-up, including rousing dragon, lion and Chinese umbrella dances, modern Chinese opera, and vivid pyrotechnics, all accompanied by music from critically acclaimed Singaporean Chinese fusion music group The TENG Ensemble. Adding to the festive atmosphere, our property has been adorned with contemporary decorations, drawing inspiration from classic Chinese paintings. These installations depict an evoking tale of snakes gliding through mountainous landscapes to form auspicious Chinese characters. These beautiful decorations are on display until 12 February. We wish everyone a prosperous and joyous Chinese New Year filled with blessings and bold new beginnings. #MarinaBaySands
