The journey of the 28th Fair Play Menarini International Award continues, the names of the participants, and the details of this all-new winter version of The Champions Tell their Stories, were revealed during the press conference. High profile athletes will once again be present: Javier Zanetti, Borja Valero, Andrea Zorzi, Ekaterina Antropova, Andy Diaz, Fabrizio Donato, Rigivan Ganeshamoorthy, Giuliano Razzoli, Federico Buffa. The event will be held on 30 November at 5:00 pm in the Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. The Champions Tell their Stories talk show, produced in partnership with Sky TG24, will be broadcast live on Sky’s Channel 501. The show will be presented by Rachele Sangiuliano, former volleyball champion, and Sky Sport hosts, Omar Schillaci and Michele Cagiano, Deputy Director of Sky TG24, together with Alessandro Acton, journalist and Sky Sport host. Menarini China is honoured to have been a part at the 17th Health Industry Ecology Conference (CPEO 2024 in Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center), one of the largest and longest-running conferences in the nation’s pharmaceutical industry. The conference attracted thousands of official representatives attendees, serving as a key platform for collaboration in the advancement of China’s healthcare landscape. One of our Men's Health products, used for the treatment of men with erectile dysfunction (ED), and men with both ED and the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, also  received the CPEO Gold Award at the event! Alan Chen, Managing Director of Menarini China, also delivered an impactful keynote speech emphasising on the importance of strategic collaboration necessary for a patient-centric healthcare ecosystem as well as insights into Menarini's strategic development, market positioning, and commitment to tackling unmet medical needs through innovation and partnerships. Menarini China remains committed to further our Vision of “Health, our commitment for life” and provide comprehensive, convenient, and efficient health offerings for patients in China.

Huge congratulations to our Australian team, who were announced as the winner of the 2024 PRIME Awards in the ‘Excellence in Patient or Customer Support’ category for its Digital Adherence Patient Program, at last week’s award ceremony in Sydney. In selecting Menarini as the winner for this award, the judges noted the “meaningful outcomes and impact of the personalised adherence program, which was highly successful in supporting patients to stay on their medication.” Developed in partnership with MedAdvisor Solutions AU, Menarini Australia launched a digital adherence program for patients who have been prescribed lipid lowering therapy, providing them with on-going support to manage their high cholesterol and encourage adherence to treatment. In the aftermath of the devastating Typhoon Yagi that struck northern Thailand in early September, Menarini Thailand mobilised to provide essential relief efforts for the affected communities in Chiang Rai. By partnering with The Mirror Foundation, Menarini Thailand was able to collect and distribute much-needed supplies like clothing and ready-to-eat food to help residents rebuild their lives in the wake of the disaster.

Menarini Asia-Pacific is honoured to have been a part of the Italian Navy’s Amerigo Vespucci’s visit to Singapore. Our CEO, Glen Godresse, and CFO, Long Shiuan Ho, had the privilege to participate in panel discussions and engage in a closed-door meeting with key stakeholders from the The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Ambasciata d'Italia a Singapore e Brunei Darussalam, Confindustria, and other industry leaders. We are privileged to represent the Italian healthcare industry in Southeast Asia at these key events, and remain committed to improving patient outcomes and meeting the growing demand for advanced therapies and accessible healthcare solutions in the region.
