Late Post: 🌏 Reflections on #Qual360APAC 2024 I attended the #Qual360APAC on Nov 6-7, and it was a whirlwind of inspiration, insights, and human connection! 💡✨ My key takeaways: ✅ Embrace the power of collective intelligence – By sharing our own experiences, lessons learned and successes, we unlock deeper understanding of how to elevate our value with the new tools available to us. I'm very grateful for the gift of open sharing throughout the whole conference. ✅ Our shared challenges are timeless – From decoding consumer behaviour to navigating cultural nuances, the conversations reminds me that our core challenge as researchers hasn't changed: unlock deeper human truths. I was delighted to hear good feedback about my contribution to this topic. I spoke about Jobs to be Done 2.0, a simple framework that looks at consumers as humans, not datapoints, and how we make the process of decoding it future-ready. ✅ The future is NOW – While the core challenge hasn't changed, how we do it is changing at lightning speed. AI and advanced tech are enhancing our qualitative toolkit, and the possibilities for richer, faster and more scalable insights are endless. They are fast becoming as indispensable as human creativity and intuition to continue to elevate the value of research in modern business. Beyond the sessions, I was greatly energized by the swapping of ideas over coffee to debating the finer points of methodologies over lunch breaks. I’m grateful for the old friendships and new ones built. Special thanks to all the partners who helped me rethink what's possible with my own research challenges.
