Noticed our streets shining brighter—and smarter? 💡 Since September 2023, Singapore’s street lights have gone smart! With a Remote Control and Monitoring System (RCMS), they automatically adjust to sunrise, sunset, and weather conditions, saving around 8.75 million kWh annually – enough to power nearly 2,000 4-room HDB flats for a year! Combined with energy-efficient LEDs, we have cut street lighting energy use by more than 25% while boosting visibility. 🌍💡 Read about other ways that the public sector has gone greener at https://lnkd.in/ghr_zmBW! #SingaporePublicSector #SGGreenPlan #GreenGovSG #SustainableSG
