N PrimePartners Capital is providing financing for the production via a newly established fund for talented filmmakers. "Mr. Fischer’s Chair" revisits the 1972 World Chess Championship between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky. During game 17 of their “Match of the Century,” the Soviet team accused the Americans of tampering with Fischer’s chair to harm his opponent, prompting a thorough investigation of the Eames Executive seat. We are incredibly grateful to Jordi B. Oliva and partners for teaming up with N PrimePartners Capital to bring this film to life. Our Digital Media Investment Committee Chair Nicholas Aaron Khoo hosted the investment conversation on the Gaming Matters Dubai stage last week with Salone Sehgal from Lumikai Fund and Tarek Fouad from Shorooq Partners. They had a good conversation about the investment landscape, differences in GCC vs other regions, and the opportunities in the sector besides content investments. Dubai government announced its gaming visa on the same stage which aims to unite content creators and provide employment and training opportunities in collaboration with international companies and academic institutions. This new initiative is part of Dubai's Program for Gaming 2033 which aims to create 30,000 jobs and achieve a $1 billion increase in GDP with the aim of making Dubai a global leader in gaming revenue.
