Two weeks ago, at a significant event hosted during the Malaysia Digital Content Festival (#MyDCF), #OMG proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT). This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to nurturing future talent and advancing the field of virtual production through education. Thanks to #MDEC, we are grateful to have Prof Dr Ir EurIng Ts Vinesh Thiruchelvam, CIEO of APU and Nick GC Tan, CEO of OMG, joining forces in this visionary endeavor. We've just wrapped up our second Virtual Production Masterclass at OMG Studio, and what an immersive experience it was! From exploring the intricacies of media servers to diving into Unreal Engine, participants delved into the entire Virtual Production process. They learn and practice every aspect, from pre-production planning to the final touches of post-production magic. But it didn't stop there! Attendees who are all professionals of their own, also had the chance to craft their own short VP video clips, dissecting the producing process and unlocking their creative potential.
