Celebrating Deepavali at PacificLight!   The PacificLight team enjoyed a festive spread of traditional Indian dishes to celebrate Deepavali. PacificLight Joins Waterways Watch Society for a River Cleanup   As part of our commitment to give back, 18 PacificLight Power staff recently participated in a river cleanup activity organised by the Waterways Watch Society. The event saw our team kayaking along the waterways to collect and remove waste. In just under two hours, we collected over 13kg of waste.   The Waterways Watch Society was founded in 1998, inspired by the late Mr. Lee Kuan Yew’s efforts to clean up the Singapore River in the 1970s. Starting with just 27 members, the Society has now grown to over 700 volunteers, expanding its mission to include environmental education programs alongside regular clean-up patrols.   We are proud to support this important initiative and to play a part in protecting Singapore’s waterways and making a positive environmental impact.   #Sustainability #PacificLightPower #WaterwaysWatchSociety #CommunityEngagement #EnvironmentalResponsibility 

Riding for a Cause! On 12th October 2024, PacificLight held our annual Charity Cycleathon at the scenic Marina Bay Loop. From 9am to 11am, around 20 dedicated team members joined the ride, raising funds for a meaningful cause. Thanks to the generosity of our participants and supporters, we were able to make a cash donation to Food from the Heart, helping to make a positive impact in our community. Paving the Way for a Sustainable Future! We’re proud to be part of Singapore’s first district-level Smart Grid at Punggol Digital District (PDD), alongside JTC and Univers. This ambitious project is designed to transform energy management, optimize efficiency, and contribute to Singapore’s sustainability goals. As part of the consortium, PacificLight will be responsible for installing and operating the battery energy storage system (BESS) and rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) panels for the next 20 years. These efforts will enhance the district’s energy resilience, reduce carbon emissions, and set a benchmark for future urban energy solutions. We’re excited to contribute our expertise to this groundbreaking initiative, demonstrating how smart grid technology can seamlessly integrate renewables and support the national grid.
