How It Works   PanBlastTM AirFlo Pneumatic Remote Handles are an “air bleed” type handle, whereby when not activated air continuously discharges from the handle. Advantage – Handle has appearance of being live, therefore anyone untrained is unlikely to press or try to activate the twin stage safety lock-out.   The “Deadman” Handle is inter-connected to the Inlet/Outlet Valve by a dual control hose. One hose to supply control air to the handle; one hose to return control air to the valve when required for activation.   Pneumatic controls are recommended for use of up to 40 meters. If this length is exceeded PanBlast electric remote control systems should be used to avoid delays in valve actuation. PB1 - LOAD, RECYCLE & BLAST The PanBlast PB Bulk/Multiple Blast Pot Recycling & Loading System is designed for loading and recycling of recyclable abrasive media such as garnet, aluminum oxide, glass beads, steel abrasives into the abrasive storage hopper, which then feeds the abrasives in to optionally supplied two, three or four BP600 Pressure Blast Pots, or a single BB120 Bulk Blast Pot. The abrasive storage hoppers are sized accordingly based on storage capacity requirements. The unit is mounted in a pit (additional options are available for a pit-less installation) with a sweep-in type abrasive feed hopper at floor level. A flow control shedder plate is fitted in the feed hopper to regulate the flow of abrasive media to the boot of the bucket elevator. The PanBlast Retractable Concertina Containment Enclosure is ideal for blasting and/or painting operations, and is designed to collapse and extend to facilitate loading and unloading of workpieces, this also allows the floor space to be used for other work when the containment enclosure is not in use. To extend and retract the enclosure, a drive system is provided with wireless remote control. In the retracted position, the room length will be approximately 1/3 of its original length. The retractable enclosure consists of steel frames mounted on heavy-duty casters, with fire-retardant fabric attached to the structure. To protect the fabric, replaceable 3mm thick rubber sheets are hung in strips, and protect the entire internal surface of the containment enclosure. Enclosure illumination is provided by evenly spaced LED lighting modules mounted to the ceiling. A suitably sized ventilation dust collector system is supplied with each enclosure. These dust collectors feature cartridge filters with automatic reverse air pulse jet cleaning. PanBlast Industrial Blast & Coating Dehumidification Systems: Dehumidification, or removing moisture from the air, is one method to control the environment when abrasive blasting and coating. It helps prevent flash rusting and promotes the curing of coatings. Most large painting suppliers will not guarantee their coatings if they are not applied in a controlled environment, making dehumidifiers critical for most large blasting & coating facilities and areas. A correct painting / coating procedure means the surface of the steel is to be 3 degrees Celsius or higher than the dew point to prevent moisture from condensing on the steel surface. Moisture condensing on an abrasive blasted steel surface will create flash rusting and will create issues with paint primer sticking to the steel surface. Moisture condensing on a new painted surface will also affect the curing (hardening) of the coating and lead to coating failures at time of inspection.
