Investigations into the latest Commission's published cases identified inadequate policies and processes for managing third-party vendors and outdated software applications as the leading causes of data breaches. Here's an overview: - 1 organisation was found to have breached the Protection Obligation. - A financial penalty was imposed and directions were issued to the organisation. - 3 organisations have provided voluntary undertakings to the PDPC.
