The PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator: APAC Sustainability Edition is designed to help startups in the APAC region develop and bring their ideas to market. Our mission is to help build a more sustainable future by supporting startups that are working to advance circular economy and sustainable agriculture solutions and mitigate the impacts of climate change. We believe that these areas are critical to the health of our planet and that innovative solutions from startups have the potential to make a real difference in the region. 10 innovators from the APAC region will receive initial grants of $20,000 USD along with mentorship and training from PepsiCo subject matter experts. At the end of the program, one participating team will be awarded a $100,000 USD grant and offered further opportunities to advance and scale their innovation. 🌱What if soil could tell us how to secure our food future? That’s the question X-Centric Sciences set out to answer when they applied to the 2024 PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator APAC (GHAC) Program. As a finalist, the team received mentorship and the opportunity to pilot their soil measurement technology with PepsiCo, helping farmers evaluate soil health, and ultimately enhance productivity and operations in sustainable agriculture. The impact didn’t stop there. After the accelerator concluded, X-Centric Sciences closed a successful funding round, an achievement they credit to the mentorship, guidance, and support provided by the PepsiCo GHAC program.
