The November edition of the Cybersecurity Industry Call for Innovation (CyberCall) was announced at the Cybersecurity Innovation Day 2024 today. First launched in 2018, CyberCall aims to enhance organisation’s cyber resilience and invites cybersecurity companies to develop innovative solutions to address evolving cybersecurity challenges.
Mr David Koh, Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) highlighted the focus on Operational Technology and Internet of Things (IoT) security in this year's CyberCall challenge statements in his keynote address. He also visited the CyberCall booths, where he engaged with cybersecurity innovators showcasing their solutions.
#CSA also unveiled the results of CyberCall 2023, with up to S$4 million awarded to seven companies for their innovative solutions in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Safe Security, Cloud Security, and IoT security. In addition, the CyberSG R&D Programme Office at Nanyang Technological University Singapore announced the recipient of the Themed and Emerging Area Grant. A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research Institute for Infocomm Research will launch the Telecom Cybersecurity Innovation Centre in collaboration with ST Engineering, with a focus on enhancing local 5G network security.
