This vessel, designed as a light combatant, represents a new class in the Indonesian Navy fleet, marked by the inclusion of Praxis’s advanced IPMS technology for enhanced onboard intelligence. The keel was officially laid on June 12, 2024, at PT Palindo Marine, a leading Indonesian shipbuilder. The IPMS by Praxis Automation brings an advanced level of operational efficiency, safety, and mission capability to the Indonesian Navy. Mr Ditra Ak, Country Manager of Praxis Automation in Indonesia, highlighted the significance of this partnership: “Praxis’s IPMS has already proven its value as a rugged, reliable COTS solution on Indonesia’s 105m Martadinata-class frigate. This technology has provided remarkable improvements in lean manning, operational efficiency, and safety. We are honored to be chosen for this important program and to continue supporting the Indonesian Navy.” This installation marks the first time the Indonesian Navy will use IPMS technology on a fast attack craft, emphasizing the Navy’s commitment to advancing operational capabilities, even on smaller, agile platforms. Despite its compact size, the new KCR (Kapal Cepat Rudal) class vessel will feature advanced electronic systems that enhance mission readiness and overall fleet versatility. Mr Mukti Syarif Rivai, General Manager of PT Palindo Marine, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are eager to work closely with Praxis Automation’s team of experts to bring advanced capabilities to this vessel. Praxis’s commitment to a minimum of 20 years of spare parts availability aligns with our goal to provide ongoing support to the Indonesian Navy beyond delivery. We look forward to building a lasting relationship with both Praxis and the Navy, ensuring sustained performance and support throughout the vessel’s lifecycle.” Praxis Automation’s IPMS, designed with robust control and monitoring solutions for all vessel machinery, offers a comprehensive approach to risk mitigation in retrofit projects and new built of naval platforms. This new partnership with PT Palindo Marine and the Indonesian Navy demonstrates Praxis’s continued dedication to delivering sophisticated solutions that empower mission success. #PraxisAutomatiom #IPMS #𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 #MarineInovation
