The project will proceed as a tie-back to the Brage Field, with first oil expected in early 2027. ⭐ 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟱% 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗺𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 Lime Petroleum AS has completed its acquisition of a 15% interest in the Yme Field from OKEA ASA for a post-tax consideration of US$15.65 million, bringing its total stake to 25% effective 1 January 2024. The transaction includes structured repayment terms tied to field abandonment milestones. Mr Lars B. Hübert, Chief Executive Officer of Lime Petroleum AS, said, “We are pleased that our strategy to build up reserves and resources on the Norwegian Continental Shelf is moving at a good clip. Both the Kim and Sognefjord East targets and the Bestla tie-back to the existing infrastructure in Brage are good examples of our near-field and in-field exploration and development strategy which will minimise additional construction costs and in turn, reduce emissions, while fast-tracking production and extending Brage Field’s lifespan. These new developments, together with our increased interest in Yme, will add to our reserves and resources in the years to come.” 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://lnkd.in/g_YeYT_K #RexInternationalHolding #RexContent #Sustainability #StrategicUpdate #MilestoneAchievement #LimePetroleumAS

In September, Rex subsidiary Lime Petroleum AS signed a Heads of Agreement with Canada-listed MCF Energy’s GENEXCO for an option to farm into the Reudnitz gas exploration licence in Germany. 🌟The Reudnitz licence is a natural gas field located 70 km southeast of Berlin, with significant potential: 118 BCF of methane and over 1 BCF of helium. 🌟 Genexco will conduct a well workover in Q4 2024 to unlock further production potential. 🌟 Lime Petroleum has the option to acquire up to 80% interest in the licence and could become the operator of the Reudnitz Production Licence. This agreement aligns with Rex’s strategy to expand our asset base beyond current jurisdictions, with a focus on unlocking high-potential energy resources. 🌍 Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our growth journey! 🚀 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://lnkd.in/gP4HWGwF #RexInternationalHolding #RexContent #EnergyExploration #NaturalGas #Sustainability #OilAndGas #Germany

Rex Chairman John d'Abo was recently featured in an article by The Edge Singapore, where he shared insights into the company's progress and its strategies for future growth. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀: 💡 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Rex wants the market to value it as an exploration and production (E&P) company by Risked NAV and EBITDA, rather than the bottom line. 💡 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻: Rex is working with Gneiss Energy, a professional acquisition and disposal boutique in oil & gas to find a farm-in partner for Oman and hopes to find another reserve in the block. 💡 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The Sèmè field development plan will be submitted as soon as possible. Once online, the field will add 10.9 MMstb to Rex’s reserves. 💡 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀: In the space of a year, Rex has gone from 8 mmbbls to 24-25 mmbbls of reserves. 💡 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: With Norway and Benin, Rex would be pretty close to 20,000 bbls of production a day in a year’s time.
