Electrification remains a persistent macro growth area for the next decade with the International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasting a rise in the share of renewables in the global power generation mix from 29% in 2022 to 35% in 2025, reaching 50% by 2030. As a significant theme, electrification opens a range of strategic long term business opportunities in the fields of generation, grid distribution, storage, metering, efficiency, technology substitution, thermal heating, mobility, electrolysis, and fuel cells to name a few, all of which require massive scale out in the coming decade.
