Fujian Botare Network Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading Chinese provider of tissue paper, wipes and other personal care products under the BOTARE brand. In a world increasingly focused on environmental and social responsibility, business leaders must find ways to merge business growth and environmental commitments. At the Asia Pacific Economic Forum held in Singapore last week, Craig Tribolet explained APRIL’s philosophy, where sustainability is not an afterthought, but a core and essential pillar of business strategy. “At APRIL, it is our position that a resilient business is a sustainable business,” says Craig Tribolet, Deputy Director of Sustainability at APRIL. “A sustainable business has to be engaged in discussions about how to manage the apparent tension between business growth and maintaining commitments to sustainability and environmental stewardship". Organized by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation and the Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the forum brought together leaders, innovators, and influencers committed to driving positive change in the region. As one of the panelists focused on the topic of ‘Sustainable and Resilient Business in Asia Pacific’, Craig offered valuable insight on how APRIL is redefining the relationship between business growth and sustainability. By forward-thinking and future-proof planning, APRIL has successfully increased productivity, diversifying its manufacturing operations, and simultaneously deepening its ties to sustainability with investments across operations and supply chains.   "Investing in sustainability not only drives long-term growth but also ensures that businesses remain adaptable, resilient, and competitive in an ever-evolving market," Craig explains.
