Well, something interesting happened when two teachers tried the same project... One class made some nice posters. Nothing wrong with that. But the other class? They built something that saved their school $12,000. Not kidding. And get this - both classes started with the exact same assignment. Same grade level too. Same resources. Same everything. The only difference was one tiny shift in how they approached it... Here's what happened with the first class... They made a PowerPoint about food waste. Added some stock photos. Read directly from the slides. Parents nodded politely. And by next week? Everyone moved on. But that second class... They didn't just talk about food waste. They measured it. They created a whole composting system. They cut their cafeteria waste by 60%. And now? 5 other schools are copying their model. Here's what made the difference...
