About us
The Singapore Canoe Federation is the National Sports Association responsible for the management, coordination, development and promotion of canoeing in Singapore. It represents the interest of its athletes and members to the Singapore Sports Council, Singapore National Olympic Committee, the public and other international canoeing bodies. Objectives: • Promote a high standard of safety and opportunity for participation in full range of canoeing activities in Singapore. •Nuture and prepare its elite and potential elite athletes to medal at the SEA Games and other international and regional competitions. •Uphold high standards of sportsmanship. •Be a champion in the introduction and development of all disciplines of canoeing in Singapore. •Promote and make Singapore a venue for regional/international canoeing championships/events. The Singapore Canoe Federation operates 3 reservoirs, namely The Paddle Lodge @ MacRitchie Reservoir, The Paddle Lodge @ Pandan Reservoir, and Kallang Water Sports Centre.

Team Singapore concluded our campaign at the 2024 South East Asian Canoe Sprint Championships in Hai Phong, Vietnam, with a haul of 9 Golds, 11 Silvers, and 11 Bronzes. All 37 paddlers returned home with at least one medal each! Well done to all athletes, and a big thank you to the national coaches Bill Lee, Hadrian Ro, Lucas Teo and Agnes Szabo, plus team manager Cheryl Tay. Last but not least, a special mention goes to the international technical officials from Singapore who officiated at SEACC: Cheng Kok Hua (Chief Official), Alvin Phua (Starter), and Priscilla Siew (ID Control). At the 2024 Singapore Sports Awards held at Orchard Hotel yesterday evening, the canoe polo national women's team received a Meritorious Award for Sportsman/Sportswoman (Team) for their outstanding performance in the 2023 Asian Canoe Polo Championships, held last November at the Marina Bay waterfront.
