Last Friday, we were hosted by #SUTD - ASD research team led by Prof. Peter Ortner to explore the potential of digital technology solutions in solving some of the prevailing urban design and planning issues. The workshop, which was attended by 12 SIP members, was conducted at the Net Zero Futures Lab at Parcel D of the SUTD campus. The topics covered the Generative Model Webtool Demonstration, Urban Heat Island (UHI) Optimisation, and Net Zero Energy Precinct Optimisation. Through this workshop, we hope to encourage more collaborations across different institutions and organisations and to narrow the gap between academic research and planning practice. We look forward to future collaborations! F. Peter Ortner
