Sometimes we need to pause and reconnect with what truly matters. That's exactly what we did last night, as I partnered with Jonathan Yap (founder of Design Pay Asia) to host Singapore Product Design November Group Career Coaching session on '𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐡𝐲.' The session wasn't just about career strategies or job search tactics. It was about creating a safe space where everyone could: - Explore what truly matters to them - Connect with others facing similar challenges - Find clarity in confusion What touched me most was the vulnerability and openness shared in the room. Stories of uncertainty, moments of doubt, and glimpses of hope - all reminding us that we're not alone in this journey. To everyone who joined us: thank you for trusting us with your stories. Your courage to look deeper and ask the hard questions is inspiring. Remember, finding your 'why' isn't a destination - it's an ongoing journey. And sometimes the most important step is simply giving yourself permission to pause and reflect. If you're feeling lost, know that it's okay. It's okay to question, to doubt, to explore. We did it - we made a Product Design Magazine! 🚀 I am deeply honored to announce the founding and launching of Singapore Product Design’s first UX e-Magazine - Discussions on Design Vol I 🎉📖 In this magazine, we celebrate Design, the Designer and the Designed Society in Singapore - to launch it alongside #SingaporeDesignWeek there is profound joy in honoring the local scene. To our contributors of our 5 curated articles Leonard Reese Brian Hui Lillian Yang Kristian Mikhel Dr. A. Imran Nordin Naning Utoyo Qimmy (Lim Qi Xuan) Jonathan Yap, thank you for sharing your wisdom and the trust in our team to bring your stories to life! And I couldn’t have done it without an entire creative village. To my team Desiree S.
