🌟 Highlights from Our Inaugural STEM Summer Camp in Singapore! 🌟 StemCo, in partnership with Mosaic Play Academy, successfully hosted its first international STEM camp in Singapore, bringing together students from Pakistan, Serbia, and Singapore. Our program focused on three key areas: 1. 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 for students 2. 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 for mentors 3. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 for parents, students, and mentors One of the program's highlights was our fireside chat featuring Daniyar Maminov from Google and Hassan Rafique Awan from DevCrew I/O. Their insights into the IT industry inspired our students, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and mentorship. We're excited to announce that this conversation has sparked our next initiative: a mentorship program connecting selected students with industry experts. Stay tuned! Another highlight was the students' incredible journey in building a Go-Kart from scratch. Initially faced with doubts about completing such a complex project, the students and supportive parents rallied together. Their determination paid off as they successfully built a fully functional vehicle before the deadline, culminating in thrilling test runs and a team racing challenge. When asked about their favorite part of the camp, students unanimously exclaimed, "Go-kart challenge!" We concluded the camp with a gala dinner featuring a captivating magic show and an award ceremony where students received certificates of completion and were officially licensed as Go-Kart Drivers! 🏁 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this program a success. Shout out to the Mosaic Play Academy team. Special thanks to Mr. Awais Naeem, our partner from Pakistan, and Dr. Maryam Aleem from Aitchison College for their unwavering support and dedication. We’re looking forward to our next learning journey, armed with fresh insights to enhance the experience for students, mentors, and parents alike. Cheers to future adventures! 🚀✨ #STEM #Education #Mentorship #STEMCamp #STEMeducation #TeamSpirit

  • 56th International Chemistry Olympiad, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2024 The 56th edition of the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) concluded with a memorable closing ceremony on July 30. This year, we witnessed 327 of the brightest young chemists from 93 countries come together, showcasing their talent and dedication. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding achievements, which highlight not only their hard work but also the unwavering support of their coaches and mentors. Although our team faced some challenges during the experimental round, we secured one bronze medal and one honorable mention. This experience has motivated us to aim even higher in the coming years. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to J. L. Kiappes, Chairman of the Steering Committee, and his team for their impeccable coordination of the event. Our proposal to host the IChO in 10 years was positively received, and we are committed to achieving the necessary milestones to realize our vision of hosting the Olympiad in 2034. A sincere thank you also goes to the Scientific Committee for their dedication to crafting engaging and challenging questions and maintaining the highest standards of competition integrity. And, of course, our deepest thanks to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Badr AlMajrathi and Dr. Amal Al-Hazaa, Secretary General of Mawhiba, and the entire #Mawhiba team—staff and volunteers alike—for orchestrating this world-class event. Your efforts have truly set a new benchmark for future IChO hosts. Over the course of 10 days, I had the privilege of engaging with experts from around the globe, exchanging ideas, and exploring ways to maximize the academic potential of talented students. The experience has been both enriching and inspiring. This year's Olympiad has been a celebration of chemistry and collaboration, truly embodying the motto of "building the bonds." We look forward to nurturing the wonderful connections we have made for the benefit of students and eagerly anticipate the next IChO in the UAE next year! I am excited to share the next step in our mission to nurture young minds in STEM education: a STEM Summer Camp in Singapore. Allow me to share a quick story that has inspired us to develop this project. I was introduced to the Olympiad program at school by my chemistry teacher, who believed I had a gift for it. During winter break, he organized a one-week camp for a few students interested in chemistry. This exposure sparked my passion, leading me to study the subject more deeply. Eventually, I represented my country in the International Chemistry Olympiad and earned a medal, which helped me secure a scholarship to Nanyang Technological University. Now, as an Olympiad coach, I'm on a mission to help young minds discover and develop their talents in STEM. As part of this mission of StemCo, in partnership with Mosaic Play Academy, we are excited to announce our next project: a STEM Summer Camp in Singapore. This camp offers students an opportunity to uncover their gifts in STEM. The students will have the chance to: 1. Engage in coding and modeling individual learning experiences 2. Participate in hands-on STEM-based team learning experiences Students will also have the opportunity to converse with industry experts from leading STEM companies, gaining valuable insights and tips about the field. I'm forever grateful to my teacher for helping me find my passion. Please share this opportunity with anyone who might benefit, and help students discover their gifts. Someone might be forever thankful to you down the road. Cheers to all!

I am proud to be an NTU alumnus, and much has changed since I graduated from NTU 10 years ago. It’s great to be back on campus now with StemCo students from around the world. Our StemCo Global Finals students had an inspiring visit to Nanyang Technological University, the world’s best young university according to the Times Higher Education Ranking 2024! They received valuable insights about majors in STEM fields, admissions, and scholarships from NTU representatives. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Ong Hue Sien, Head of International Admissions, Ms. Karen Xu, Assistant Director of International Admissions, and Ms. Tan Siew Ying for their support and collaboration. I can't wait to be back again! https://lnkd.in/gTqj4xrN #NTU #StemCo #GlobalFinals #STEMEducation #Innovation #Admissions #Scholarships #Collaboration #ProudAlumni
