Electric Coastal Reefs harness low-voltage electricity to accelerate the natural process of mineral accretion, strengthening artificial reef structures while creating a thriving marine habitat. Unlike traditional coastal protection measures, these reefs act as living breakwaters, reducing wave energy and stabilising shorelines naturally. Over time, these structures become encrusted with calcium carbonate, making them stronger while supporting coral growth and marine biodiversity! 🌍 Eco-warriors Dino and Julius Meet the Founders of Seaforms Dino (Hou-An Chia) and Julius (Julius Ang), two eco-warriors passionate about restoring coral reefs and protecting coastlines. After graduating, they saw an opportunity to combine their expertise in architecture and engineering to create scalable, nature-based solutions for marine conservation.
