In celebration of the upcoming International Women's Day, I want to shine a spotlight on an exceptional leader within Temus, our newly appointed Managing Director, Seok Ling Wong.   Seok Ling is truly the 'big sister' of our team. She's the kind of leader who can seamlessly transition from strategizing commercial deals with clients to excitedly buying Taylor Swift concert tickets with us, or grabbing mala & bubble tea together. Despite juggling multiple projects, she always makes a conscious effort to be present and involved with the team, showing genuine interest in our professional and even personal lives. (and even dressed up as minion)   I know, and I'm sure many of us feel this, that we can always approach Seok Ling with any challenge. She consistently clears her schedule to listen, offers immediate support to help us find solutions, and only returns to her own demanding workload once everyone feels supported – often accompanied by a huge, relatable sigh!   Seok Ling, your promotion to Managing Director is not only well-deserved, but also incredibly inspiring, especially as we celebrate International Women's Day and the achievements of women in leadership. We are incredibly excited to support you in this new chapter, just as you have always supported us. Great few days at #VIVE2025 in #Nashville. Loved the vibe at #VIVE A few key things that stood out for me: 1. #AI (of course) - excitingly we have progressed from pilots to deployments with proven benefits to providers especially for #ambientAI in clinical use cases esp around documentation to drive efficiency, quality and help address burnout for clinical staff. My call is that this will become prolific in Singapore and Asia as shortages in clinical talent continue to challenge us. Those that can already easily integrate with EHRs like Epic, CMS and other ERP systems at less punchy price points will grow the market and ensure value for money. 2. The topic of ROI, measurement and evolving governance structures in this new digital world was front and centre. Instead of traditional capex or project metrics (eg budget, on time), #healthtech leaders are calling out metrics like #adoption and #velocity as ways we should start measuring value for digital initiatives. As they say, what gets measured gets done. For example, we can’t get ROI without adoption and we can’t get adoption without change management… and without us measuring adoption, we shouldn’t be surprised if adoption is slow or little effort is spent thinking about #changemanagement 3. Health is responsible for 30% of the world’s #data, but only ~ 3% of that data is used, according to one expert. The why is a long conversation, but the principle of not just thinking about what should be reported, but the latency and context of insights spoke to me. Let’s stop thinking generically about dashboards and how to calculate metrics and dig in to think about embedding insights into healthcare workflows. What information is needed WHEN by WHOM for what purpose? Looking forward to seeing how these evolve! What trends are you seeing in #digitalhealth?
