A New York Icon Named the City’s Best Renovation… 550 Madison, the landmarked office building in Midtown Manhattan, has been named the Best Restoration by the Municipal Art Society. The building, owned and sensitively restored by The Olayan Group, has also recently received a ULI (Urban Land Institute) Americas Award for Excellence. 550 Madison was the only building in New York State to be so honored. “We are honored that MAS has recognized the repositioning of 550 Madison as the year’s best restoration,” said Erik Horvat, Global Co-Head of Real Estate at The Olayan Group. “The Olayan Group was committed to maintaining one of the city’s most recognizable architectural icons while reimagining it to include an extraordinary public garden, unparalleled amenities and a market-leading sustainability program.”

We’re helping to support some of the most innovative cancer care in the world. The Suliman S. Olayan Foundation was proud to fund the Olayan Day Care Unit at the Oak Cancer Centre in London. The facility – part of The Royal Marsden Hospital – provides leading-edge diagnosis and care for patients living with cancer. The Olayan Day Care Unit, which opened in 2023, will serve around 11,000 patients a year. Facilities include: 66 treatment bays 5 en-suite single rooms 2 counselling rooms and treatment preparation rooms. Lubna Olayan, President of the Olayan Foundation Council, said, ‘The Foundation is honored to support this world-renowned healthcare institution, something which reflects our founder’s interest in and promotion of advancements in medical science’.
