We were honoured to welcome Scania Singapore as we celebrated a significant milestone: Ban Soon Huat Transport Trading has become the first company in Singapore to own a Scania Super Truck, paired with the largest PALFINGER PK200002 L SH truck-mounted crane. The Scania P460B8x4HZ Super truck, combined with the powerful PALFINGER PK200002 L SH—equipped with a fly-jib that can extend up to 50.7 metres—showcased remarkable capabilities for complex lifting tasks. In addition to celebrating these innovations, PALFINGER introduced their Connected Plus+ fleet management system, which enhances operational efficiency and safety for our valued customers. On 15th August 2024, Whyte Labs, led by Aditya, and China Hub SG, led by Zoe, organised an inspiring visit to Botsync, a tech startup based in Wong Fong's building. This event was part of a five-day youth course on the future at NUS and SUTD, attended by students and their parents from China. The parents, who are business owners in the manufacturing and technology sectors, were keen to learn more about Singapore's dynamic education and tech ecosystem. As a shareholder of Botsync, Wong Fong was honoured to host the event at our premises. Our Group CEO, James Liew, and the Director of Group Supply Chain, Operations, and Human Resources, Lew Siew Choo, participated, sharing valuable insights and presenting the Wong Fong heritage book as a gesture of goodwill.
