In front of 600 local and international delegates from the cocoa and chocolate industry, NTUC U SME and the Cocoa Association of Asia (CAA) formalized a significant partnership through the signing of an MOU at the biennial International Cocoa Conference Gala Dinner on 13 September, witnessed by Mr. Kiat How Tan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) and Ministry of National Development (MND). This collaboration will enable NTUC U SME and CAA’s member companies to leverage NTUC’s extensive network of unions and associations, providing access to resources and services that support business growth and workforce transformation. Through NTUC’s training and placement ecosystem, companies within the cocoa and chocolate sector can enhance talent attraction and retention and establish Company Training Committees to boost workforce productivity.
