This was our first time staying here and it definitely exceeded out expectations. The service was wonderful! We were treated very kindly by the staff and are especially thankful for Ms. KiKi for helping us out! Food was also great as well as the location. Highly recommended!

This is the second time I come to this hotel, and the experience was the same as the first time: comfortable location, good amenities, clean accommodation, and pleasant service. I recommend this hotel.

The room was great. I came to Shenyang on a business trip and chose to live here. When I checked out the next day, I left my watch in the room. This watch is very important to me. Fortunately, Comrade Xiao Pan at the front desk helped me find the watch in time to avoid loss next time. Will come again. Very good stay experience

What a ”smart” hotel (referring to using smart technology) ... for example, I could easily charge my iPhone by placing my smartphone on the bedside table. The hotel is also very spacious with a huge TV plasma screen for pleasant viewing. Great location too cos it is within walking distance to Shenyang Middle Street (pedestrian mall) as well as nearby attractions such as Shenyang Imperial Palace (Gu Gong). Although the hotel claims all the towels are cleanly washed and sealed in sanitized bags, I have found a strain of hair in one of the sealed bags. That was disgusting! On a positive note, I had a pleasant stay at the Shenyang Central Hotel (even though for just one night).

One of a fame in the region with its Bavarian-styled design and astonishing sea view. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, very punctual when approached by hotel guests. Hotel facilities are well equiped with indoor swimming pool, gym room, sky garden, and indoor playground for different age of kids.

The hotel was really clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast served was good. There were only 2 small issues. People smoking in the hotel, even with signs saying no smoking. Staff didn't stop people from smoking. And secondly during the night there's a strange humming noise in the bedroom.Otherwise a really good stay and I would definitely recommend others to book their stay there.

We were 6 foreigners who stayed in this hotel. And the only word we can say is PERFECT! This hotel is AMAZING customer service is AWESOME! We checked in very smoothly not to mention all the amenities this hotel gave us. And very very clean. THUMBS UP to the FRONT DESK who gave us surprise with the help we need as foreigners. Plus this hotel gives FREE use of their GYM

Good location in the center of the city, close to shopping mall and restaurants. Clean room with good price. Lots to choose for breakfast. Cathy Lin in front desk is helpful and she provided good service, it is a good choice for business trip in Dalian.

Typically I enjoy staying at the a Hotel Nikko, but this time I find the bed to be uncomfortable and the room too hot. It was 28 C in the room and no way to cool it down. I love the location, but I think that was my last visit to Hotel Nikko. I even checked a night early and took a loss on a prepaid room. That's how miserable it was in the room

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

Very new all season hotel. The location is very good, just below Huaiyuanmen. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Huaiyuanmen Station of Line 1. You can also walk to Shenyang Forbidden City. The hotel facilities are very good, simple and practical, and not noisy at night. Although the breakfast is simple, it has everything you need and tastes good. The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good and they are responsive to all requests. I will still choose to stay here next time I go to Shenyang.

The room is very new, large and comfortable. It is very close to Zhongjie and the Shenyang Forbidden City. There is a tourist center next to the hotel. The service at the front desk is friendly and proactively provides travel guides. Breakfast is a buffet style with rich styles. The front desk helps with breakfast discounts. 2 Breakfast for three people is only 219 yuan, highly recommended

I stayed at Shenyang Shangri-La Hotel on a business trip. The hotel really has nothing to say about the five-star service standards in terms of staff service and equipment and facilities. Wangtong at the front desk was very professional from check-in to check-out. The hotel location is also very good. It is convenient to go everywhere. The location is excellent, opposite The underground passage of Vientiane City is very convenient, and the room environment is clean and tidy. It was my first time to stay at Shangri-La Shenyang and I was not disappointed! It will definitely be your first choice next time you come to Shenyang!

Super accessible location, with malls and train stations just in walking distance. Staff are friendly too, including receptionist Happy who is warm and nice to talk with! :)

I liked this hotel because it locats in the centre of the city, subway station is a few minutes walk. It is so convenient to get around in the city. The room size is ok, and the carpets are a bit of worn-out. I liked the swimming pool, it made my stay a lot better and no bath in the bathroom was not relevant anymore.

Walking distance from Shenyang Train Station. Next to a major pedestrian shopping street, Taiyuan Lu, with a supermarket. The ”Little Europe District” on Zhongshan Lu, with Western restaurants and sidewalk cafes, is walking distance. 9th floor facilities are great--gym, pool table, Western restaurant, patio dining (no wifi, though). 23rd floor partment 1-br suite was great for the price: not luxurious but clean and well-maintained, comfy bed, kitchen with basic equipment (convection stove, not gas, unfortunately), no noise, no odors. Friendly English-speaking staff. Overall a very pleasant stay. I will come again.

Great experience; appreciate the warm hospitality from everyone, from concierge to front office, housekeeping to restaurant and lounge. Also loved the stunning bird’s eye view of Shenyang and the cozy night view in the evening!! Only one slight disappointment: the hotel doesn’t have any international sockets (albeit being an international brand - not sure if that’s the norm in China though). Plus-point was when the call centre staff took the initiative to send their concierge member to buy an adapter for me when I called them and was told that they didn’t have any adapters available in the hotel at that point in time to lend me. Really appreciated the initiative. Though the concierge member brought the wrong type of adapter (China to UK instead UK to China - thought that should be at least commonsensical for someone working in an international brand); and he was slightly unpleasant to deal with when he demanded for payment for the adaptor even though the wrong type was bought. He was also hesitant to escalate the issue to the duty manager at first until I really insisted. Duty manager resolved the issue seamlessly, took the initiative to bring one from their office and sent all the way to my room - again appreciate it. Overall, great environment and professional but warm hospitality. All other concierge members were also extremely helpful! Jacky also took initiative to send me a GPS location of the nearby police post when I needed to settle some documents there.

Good hotel. Nice, clean, and central. The bed had a plastic bit jutting out. That scratched and almost cut my leg. That's still apparent, red and tender after 4 days. Called reception. Very helpful apologetic lady came. Brought dressing for wound. Offered to charge rooms. Brought fruit. Brought engineer. They sorted the issue. Then for personal reasons, I needed to leave earlier than 5 days. The hotel refused to refund 3 days. After trip. Com intervention, offered 2 days refund. My stay was 2 nights. So, a mixed feeling review.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Broken Bridge and within walking distance. There is a parking lot, which is not big. Parking is difficult. You don’t dare to move after parking. There is no guarantee that there will be a parking space when you leave and come back. Chain hotels all have similar layouts. The general cleanliness is OK, but the details need to be improved. There are a lot of biscuit crumbs on the chairs, and you have to wipe them before you can sit down. I have to book a room with a view next time, but I just didn't pay attention. I booked a business room and couldn't see the other side, which was a bit regretful.

The hotel was great value for money. The pool was great and the gym was very well equipped. It is located right next to the Wanda Plaza, so food and shopping was a quick walk away. Staff was friendly and could communicate in English. All and all very satisfied. We would use them again in the future.

This restaurant is right next to the Broken Bridge, very close. There are many places to eat within a few steps. The location is very good. The most important thing is that the hotel staff are very nice. There is a very beautiful lady at the front desk who upgraded the room for free. The breakfast is also very rich. Thank you very much to the Zhenxuan Hotel. The hotel has a warm, hygienic and clean environment and an excellent location. Just across the road is the Broken Bridge. From the room window, you can clearly see the scenery of North Korea on the other side. In addition, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk of the hotel is very good and responsive to all requests. I highly recommend this hotel. I am also very grateful to the hotel travel agency for providing us with the one-day tour service to the river mouth. The staff of the travel agency are warm and kind, and they do what they say. There are really no compulsory consumption or other hidden fees for 100 yuan per person for a full day trip! Thumbs up to the travel agency receptionist! The tour guide is also very experienced in leading groups and speaks humorously, which adds to the beauty of the trip. Thumbs up again for the hotel and travel agency👍👍👍

Best location with affordable price. Just a few steps to the broken bridge and river cruise. Restaurants are just around the corner. The owner/front desk person is helpful and accommodating. Neat, nice and clean room. To find this hotel just follow the map direction and ask the restaurant people nearest to it. They will point you to the back part wher the entrance of this hotel is located.

Good location from the river walkway to the broken bridge. Also a 15 minute taxi ride to the railway station made it very convenient. Best Western style and Chinese breakfast one could ask for as well as ongoing friendly service. The coffee could be better, but cannot compare it to a coffee shop. Spacious warm rooms made it the perfect place to rest and relax after a busy day (during winter). Will definitely be back if I return to Dandong

I haven’t been to Dandong in almost 20 years. Before coming to Dandong this time, I looked at several hotels online and finally chose Orange Crystal Hotel. The overall check-in experience is very good. The room is consistent with the pictures shown online. I also like the decoration style. The layout of various facilities is exquisite and the hygiene is very clean. I feel safe to check in. The room card can only be used to swipe the floor where you are staying. The stay is comfortable and soundproofed. The effect is very good, the front desk staff are very professional and considerate, I will choose this hotel next time I come to play.

The inn is an independent courtyard. There is a large terrace after going up the stairs. There is a barbecue after 5 pm, which tastes good! The room was booked for two nights in a family river view double room, 303 and 304. If two people stay, 303 is recommended, which is slightly larger than 304. Both rooms have a small terrace, which is very pleasant to drink tea and chat! You can also see the Broken Bridge and the ships sailing in the Yalu River. The location of the inn is also very good, and it is convenient to travel. It is less than 10 minutes' walk from the Broken Bridge. I only stayed in Dandong for two nights this time, and the time was too tight. I hope to come again next winter! Finally, I would like to mention that the boss is warm and generous, and there is unlimited purified water downstairs, both iced and at room temperature.

The room is very clean and the equipment is new and clean. The breakfast is also good, both Chinese and Western styles can be satisfied. Finally, let me talk about the geographical location. It takes two minutes to walk to the riverside. In the morning, I get up and walk to the riverside to look at North Korea across the river. It is very comfortable. Next time I go to Dandong, I will choose Yunshang again.
