Arrived at the hotel and greeted by friendly staffs. The room is big and comfortable. Staff readily offered to help me with transport to Yungang grottos. And thanks to them, I also managed to get transport and ticket to the Hanging Temple. Breakfast is fantastic too (although it was the same noodle for 2 days 😄). The hotel is also conveniently located at the foot of the ancient wall north gate, and I can enjoy myself quite late into the night without worry for safety. After 3 nights stay, the staff sent me off with a big smile. Overall, my stay in Datong is fantastic. Thank you ☺️

the hotel is only 20mins travel from the airport which is wonderful for my business trip because i need to go to my customer located nearby. the services and facilities are also better than other local hotel. it is my third time staying this hotel, will definitely choose the same hotel on my next trips.

We received a crash course from Alice how to tour the inner city, making our short stay in Pingyao effective and visiting all the key scenic spots with ease. Maintaining the high standards of Holiday Inn, the room has a super-large bed which is very comfortable, but the space outside the bed is a little small, but it is enough. The hotel is in a very good location, within a 10-minute walk to Liuxiang Business District. The hotel parking is also quite convenient, with parking spaces both above and below ground. The security guy is also very responsible and satisfactory.

It was the first time for me to travel to Pingyao, and the whole family was very satisfied with Juhongyuan Mansion II: 1. The hotel provides free pick-up at the station, saving us the trouble of traveling 2. The courtyard house is in the style of an old Shanxi house, which is unique 3. The room decoration is modern and simple, the whole house is intelligently voice-controlled, and the bedding is very clean and comfortable. 4. The breakfast has a complete variety and tastes good. 5. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and helped us book tickets for ”See Pingyao Again” at a preferential price, and helped us contact a one-day tour charter. Highly recommend this hotel

There are many B&Bs in Datong Ancient City. This B&B can be considered high-end. It is very warm and comfortable in design. The room layout is reasonable, the facilities are complete and clean. The staff is considerate. From the time of booking to leaving, they have always maintained a high level of service. Especially at night, the service staff gave the two children hot milk to help them sleep, which made them feel warm in the cold winter. Although we only met the boss once in two days and didn't talk much, we could still feel that she was running this small hotel with her heart. Come on! Thumbs up for you! I wish your hotel a prosperous business!

Excellent stay. It's a massive complex with many sections, looks beautiful day and night, perfect location near entrance gate to city wall and main roads. Room was big, clean, comfortable and nicely designed. Toiletries and breakfast included, good food. Staff very friendly, helpful and patient with my attempts at chinese/using a translator app. Overall great value, no issues at all.

I chose this hotel because it is just a twenty minute walk north of Datong South Station. It is right next to Fantawild amusement park, so is a good choice for families (Most of the guests were families with young kids). Everything inside the hotel is brand new. One of the hosts at reception was exceptional, and she not only offered wonderful device and care to me but also to every guest I saw her interacting with (I didn't learn her name, alas). One interesting note: I stayed there on a Friday and Saturday night, and there was a firework show on both evenings in Fanatwild next door. The booming sound startled me at first, but I quickly realized what it was.

I was very satisfied with the parent-child room I stayed in. 👍That night, Sister Ding Ding provided very thoughtful service and gave gifts to the dolls, which was very considerate. The breakfast was very complete, with pasta and bread, which you can also take back to the room to eat

Hotel provided refreshment in the evening which was an excellent way to differentiate itself from the competition. Tried their chicken during early lunch and it was really tasty. Also, the staff kindly allowed me to play their Yamaha piano at the lobby. I would recommend this hotel to people visiting Datong.

Great apart from the wifi and coffee machine Very clean, very modern. Lovely rooms and great staff. Excellent customer service. But, the wifi was terrible, only 10mb and this impacted a number of planned meetings. Coffee machine at breakfast didn’t work well and breakfast buffet was a bit crowded. Ithink wifi struggled because hotel was full of customers. Mostly tour groups. As long as you don’t need wifi this is a great hotel

Manxin Hotel has always been the first choice for travel. The hotel has complete facilities and a gym. The service is very warm. When checking out, they introduced the Yungang Grottoes tour guide and took the initiative to give mineral water and gifts. In addition, the hotel breakfast is very authentic and worth recommending

Geographical location: It is on the edge of the ancient city, and it is convenient to go to any scenic spot. There is also a local commercial street nearby, with convenience stores and cake shops, but it is not very noisy. However, because it has just opened, the taxi driver does not know the area where the hotel is located. Service: The check-in front desk took the initiative to introduce and guide enthusiastically, asked where there was a cake shop, and showed the way to the door. Due to itinerary problems, I encountered problems when checking out. Miss Yang Fan at the front desk actively coordinated and assisted, and made me feel at ease while I was still outside. The concierge took the initiative to push the door. It was really warm to have someone help push the door open in cold weather. Facilities: It has just opened, and some facilities are still being adjusted. I especially like the self-service laundry room, which solves the laundry troubles for tourists. A suggestion: Can the laundry room provide laundry bags to put clothes back in the room, as well as stickers with room numbers and stickers on the machines in use, or arrange for the waiter to help take the clothes from the washing machine to the dryer and then take them back to the room when they are free? The room also has a small window, which is suitable for people like me who are not very comfortable with heating and need to change the air. The hair dryer is actually Dyson. Not bad. Lobby: spacious, with 2 sofa areas, convenient for waiting. Breakfast: rich variety, especially recommend a bowl of knife-cut noodles, delicious. I didn't expect Datong to have such a good hotel, I will choose this next time I come to play.

Chen Jianan at the front desk helped us with our luggage and guided us to check in to the room many times, which was a special thumbs up! In short, the stay experience this time was still very good and worth recommending!

The room was nice, but a little old. The shower didn't have water pressure. Location convenient from the train station and for Yungang Grottoes by bus. The staff was also friendly and one person could speak English.

Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating.  The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

I highly recommend this hotel, and I really give it a five-star rating. This is the first time I've written a review so seriously. First of all, the reservation process was normal, and the hotel was connected and communicated with the station. Before the high-speed rail arrived at the station, the master called very politely to inform that he had arrived at the station and waited. When he got off the train, there was a VIP business car to pick him up separately. When he arrived at the parking lot, there was a warm and handsome boy waiting to pick up his luggage. Because vehicles were prohibited from entering the ancient city, a small motorcycle shuttle arrived at the hotel. The hotel gave the two children a New Year snack package, welcome fruit, and a free upgrade to the parent-child room for the second test. When I went out for dinner at night and returned to the room, ginger tea was immediately delivered to keep warm. It was different from the feeling of a regular star hotel. The whole service experience was full of details. The next day, because the children experienced travel photography, the decoration could be experienced for six hours. The hotel environment was originally a typical large house, so we planned to go back to the hotel to shoot. Several young ladies and warm men at the front desk immediately helped to take pictures enthusiastically, and also recommended the hotel environment and helped to set up the layout. At that time, I immediately wanted to capture the photos shown in the picture, because the children had a good time and the hotel check-in experience was good, I immediately changed my ticket and extended my stay, and I will definitely come again if I have the chance. Although the ancient city of Pingyao is very deserted in December. But the hotel is very welcoming and heart-warming. In the off-season, the service of this hotel is most in line with the star standard. Because the entrance to the underground parking lot is not easy to enter, they also specially sent us a drive-in method to guide us to find the underground parking lot. Had a very comfortable rest all night. The pictures and videos were taken in preparation for check-out, not new arrivals. For reference only.

During the Spring Festival, a family of three traveled and stayed in a large room. It was not crowded at all. The waiter was very considerate and prepared a quilt for the child. The room has floor heating, and it is still very comfortable even if it is minus 8 degrees outside. Before we left, the hotel staff asked in advance if we needed a pick-up station. We left early, and the hotel staff not only prepared breakfast but also sent us to the station in the severe cold. The service was very good. The child also said that he would stay at Pingyao Guild Hall next time!

This hotel was really great and perfect for us. We loved its location, the breakfast and the comfortable and spacious room. It's walking distance from everything to see in Pingyao and they have free transfer to the airport which was a plus as we arrived in the city at night. We want to especially thank Wendy and Linn at the hotel as they were really nice to us and exceeded our expectations. We will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Pingyao.

The hotel is in a good location. I don't want to walk on the street anymore, but this one is right on the street. It's very quiet at night~ There is a tour bus to pick up outside the ancient city, which is very considerate~ The small courtyard is very unique and classical. There are also makeup and photo services in the small courtyard, so it can be seen that the small courtyard is very elegant~ The stay is also very good. We booked a parent-child room with a large bunk bed. Each person covers a set of quilts, and four people sleep very comfortably. Snacks and souvenirs: At the end, the boss also gave a small bag of snacks, which happened to be eaten on the way~

Lovely hotel right in the heart of the walled city. Be aware entrance is trough a hairdresser. Spacious and modern rooms, very clean and traditional. Before you visit be advised, taxis cannot enter walled town therefore cannot reach the hotel. Ask taxi driver to drop you off at the East gate of the walls and from there take the golf cart like vehicles (only taxi service allowed within the walled area) to reach the hotel. If you speak mandarin you may be able to get the service for free from the hotel, couldn't get it before check in but they kindly drove me to the East Gate for free when I left. Closest gate to the hotel is the South but has no vehicular access, if carrying luggage, always use East Gate.

Traveling with children and parents, the room is very large, and 4 bottles of water, Coke and Sprite are provided for free. The most important thing is that it can be picked up at the station, which is very convenient. 在古縣城內，靠近延西門，進來城門之後聯繫酒店人員會開電瓶車過來接。 房間在彎彎繞繞的區域裏面，如何沒有行李箱的話，走走還挺有意思的，房間寬敞整潔，雖然趕上降温，但房間很是暖和。 早餐按照要求時間送到了房間裏面，量足。 就是趕上了臨時古城夜間停水，酒店也是在下午接到通知後提前聯繫了，但因為接下來行程安排在了附近的晉祠，就沒有再取消預訂，臨時停水是唯一瑕疵的地方。
