Super conveniently located, directly above Taipei Main Station which gives great access to the Tamsui-Xinyi Line, as well as the Bannan Line. There was also the vast Taipei Underground mall that leads to many locations, like Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Station, and Breeze Taipei Station, so one is never bored and there are places to go even in inclement weather. As for the hotel itself, let's just say it DEFINITELY has its charms. The décor is quaint and aged, and the room definitely is showing it's age, but the aesthetic was not necessarily a negative. It's just a certain kind of charm that takes awhile 2 appreciate. Age and décor aside, the hotel totally makes it up with it's service. The staff were very attentive, efficient and friendly. From the front desk, concierge, down to the wait staff at the breakfast restaurant, we were treated very warmly. As for the negative, the air-conditioning is actually central and when we checked in, our room aircon was not cold and was rather warm, turns out that the filter was very dirty and not well-maintained, but kudos to the maintenance staff who was quick and efficient in trying to rectify the issue. Throughout our stay though, the aircon still had its ups and downs, but that is what was to be expected from a central aircon system I guess. Overall, very much recommended for its location and service.

Highly recommended hotel . It’s near to Taipei station and underground street mall . The hotel service is exceptional ! All their staffs are very polite , their service is much better than Intercontinental and Sheraton . I am not say those two hotels are not good , but just this hotel is very exceptional ! We had a pleasant and good rest in this hotel ! Love it !

It was 2500TWD for 2 nights. Because it was a weekend, the price was almost the same for one night and two nights. It is on the 7th floor of the building next to Shinko Mitsukoshi at Taipei Station. It feels like the office building was forced into a hotel for each floor, and there is no window. Each room has a toilet shower, a refrigerator, a valuables box, a kettle, a TV and a cooling. I think the room is quite spacious. I am not good at dormitory, I am not good at bus toilet joint, but I recommend it to those who want to stay cheaply.

The fact is this accommodation is very well located just in front of Taipei Main Train Station. And no need to carry your (heavy & bulky) luggage as the lift in the building and the escalator (at the exit of the station) are available. The first person at the front desk received my luggage at 11 am, while the check in time is at 3 pm. He perhaps could be more friendlier. I checked in at 6.30 pm and the person at front desk was nice. There is one 7-11 convenience store downstair in which I could buy Nougat cracker from Chia Te Bakery while it's sold out in the official store. The air-conditioning is centralised and can be too cold but I had good recharge after taking a late nap there before going to find dinner. Ximending night market is within 10 - 15 min walking or on Bannan line (1 stop only), whereby I could buy Taipei boba drink and meesua with pork intestine. The toilet & shower room are very clean. And the toilet bowl is like that in Japan and you could have spray of water cleaning your part. The room is so small that I needed to bring my 26” luggage to the front desk area to open. This accommodation is recommended for those coming for very short stay.

The hotel is opposite Taipei Main Station. You can use the nearest exit, Z2, or the exit with elevators and escalators, Z1/M6. Very convenient. The hotel is easy to find, next to Family Mart. The room has no windows but isn't cramped. It's fairly wide and can sleep two people. comfortably The bed and pillows are soft, sleeping very comfortable, decorated in a loft style, the water flows strong, there is shampoo, soap and a set of toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps provided. There are a lot of power plugs and many different types. The staff speaks English and the front desk is open 24 hours.

The hotel is located on the 16th floor of the transfer station on the building. After registering at the registration counter, the staff leads the way to the entrance of another building. The location is convenient, the price is reasonable, the standard twin room, the room is clean and wide, there is a terrace. Only the equipment is old. There is a convenience store downstairs and the CP value is high. In addition, it is close to the Beijing Station shopping mall and shopping is first-class. Convenient transportation, you can walk to Ningxia Night Market, and you can lead to the MRT indoors. Unfortunately, there is no obvious signboard at the registration counter, which will be easy to miss. I hope that the signboard will be added to facilitate passengers to find it. Early check in is not available- only at 1600 hours or you had to pay TWD 500 per hour for early check in Hygiene - When we enter the room - we saw a spider on the wall Facilities - Breakfast is the worst we have ever seen in a hotel with limited choice of food. After an extended stay (41days), I summarize my experience here. #1. Location: it is less than 5 mins walking distance to Taipei MRT. More importantly, this is a transfer station of red and yellow lines. And one stop from this station, you can hop on blue, green, or brown. This means you can connect to all five main lines within one station tranfer. It offers you a great way to start your day touring around this metropolitan city. #2. Facility: the room is clean, the mattress maybe on the soft side (but it might be my personal preference). There is the famous Toto washlet. Besides one particular room selection, there is only shower no tub. The water flow and temperature are consistent. #3. The breakfast. This hotel offers buffet style breakfast, including simple continental, simple salad bar, and traditional Taiwaneses breakfast with porridge. The staffs are so proud of the buffet breakfast (and I agree this is something they should brag about). The coffee is freshly brewed with good beans. The chef carefully prepare the food so there is seldom repeated hot dishes, and even offers vegetarian choice. #4. Staff: It is well known that One of the most beautiful things in Taiwan is PEOPLE. The front desk staffs are very efficient, professional, and approachable. The wat custodian cleans the room is remarkable. I was shocked when I learned that staying for 41 days is not a record. Maybe when the opportunity presents itself, I will try to set the record. Bottom line, this is a great hotel managing by a great team. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

excellent location! there's a 7-11 right outside the hotel and family mart opposite the road. about less than 5 mins straight line walk down to Beimen station exit 2 super convenient or you can walk to Taipei Main Station in 10mins. even though we got the no windows room but the room is very well lighted with a mixture of warm and white lights, especially the washroom is equipped with white light which is very important for girls to do their makeup. room size wise i think its sufficient for 2 cuz we can still open 2 luggages up on the floor at the same time. towels and bedsheets were clean, no stains observed and no itchiness felt after sleeping. showers is a bit loud in the room but we didn't heard it from rooms beside so i guess its just within the room, soundproofing is quite good other than if there were people talking super loudly at the hallway. overall would recommend this hotel and will definitely book it again if i'm going to taipei again!

I chose the hotel due to its location. It is across the road from the museum, has a convenience store close by, plenty of food places, and a Metro station is just 200m away with the main railway station just 400m away. My room had wifi/internet and a bar fridge. I stayed here twice and was mostly satisfied. Better rooms are on the front of the building. The back rooms have no view and sound carries between them via a light well. English speaking by staff is mixed. They do have a left luggage facility if you arrive early or are departing late. Not all staff understand such requests.

I stayed for three nights. Recently, there seems to be no word of mouth posts, so I hope you can refer to it. As the past word of mouth, it's really dark throughout. I don't know the control of the lighting in the room, and I can open the curtain in the morning and finally work at the desk. The corridor is dim and in addition, there is only one elevator, and it is unbelievable that it is No. 1 in the tango in the Nakayama area. The room with a coffee machine was out of order. I gave up because I was troubled to go to the front desk. The hospitality in the rooms other than the lighting is the best, and I think it is the best hotel since Corona began to calm down and I can go to Taiwan. I was especially satisfied with the bathroom. There were plenty of towels. I like it many times, but I thought it was perfect for hotel life except for lighting. Meals are about a bonus. It was also dim here and it was difficult to confirm the product name. I never stay at a luxury hotel, but I feel that the breakfast level of a hotel in Taiwan has fallen recently.

First of all, the location of the hotel is hard to find. It is in a residential area and there is no sign outside. You need to ask at the front desk of Fengju Hotel. There will be staff to pick you up. The hotel is on the 7th floor of a business building. The room is big and clean. It is quiet at night. The wifi is powerful and the facilities are complete. Breakfast is at the restaurant of Fengju Hotel. The buffet is not bad. The location of the hotel is really good, 5 minutes walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station, so it is convenient to go everywhere. 3 subway stops or half an hour's walk to 101 Building, 1 station to Taipei Main Station, 2 stations to Ximending MRT, 3 stations to Songshan Airport MRT or 120 Taiwan dollars by taxi. It is also 2 stops away from the duty-free shop, and next to the hotel are Pacific Sogo and Sogo Sogo. The room fee is only 350. The price/performance ratio is too high. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat. I will stay here next time.

I was surprised when I was assigned a room with cartoon wallpaper (I thought walls are plain like the photos when choosing the room), but I was tired enough to request a new room so I let it be. The sheets are itchy during my first night but somehow lessened whenever I request for linen change. Signs of wear and tear are visible in the room and stains on the carpet and couch looked like they’re stubborn stains already. The side of the tub is also rusty. Putting these things aside, my stay was okay and the location is a few steps away from convenience stores, milk tea, bakery, etc., few blocks away from Ningxia Night Market (they have great selection and cheaper than other too touristy night markets), ＜10 minutes away from MRT stations. The area is also safe for solo travelers even during midnight. It’s also a quiet neighborhood (though unfortunately, my room is in-between too loud guests on both sides from 10pm-1/2-ish every night).

Rich Garden is a well-maintained, well-run little hotel located just a few short blocks from the Ximen MRT station and the heart of Ximending. Our room came with a terrific multi-nozzle shower and a firm but comfortable bed. Breakfast was more than we could possibly eat. There’s a gym we didn’t use. Self -service laundry is free (including detergent). The staff is helpful, friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for luxe go elsewhere but if a well-located place to hang your hat is what you want you won’t go wrong at the Rich Garden.

The hotel is very clean and the room that we booked for a couple of days was awesome. Staffs were kind and can speak english. They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.

At check-in, a Japanese-speaking staff member assisted us. The double room was larger than we expected, and we were able to open our large suitcases comfortably. The day coincided with a direct hit from a typhoon, so we were unable to go outside, and the free snacks and drinks were extremely helpful. There was also a wide selection of breakfasts. Staying with mom and grandmother, 60s and 80s. They enjoyed the sauna, and swimming pool, and were so satisfied with the breakfast. The location is a bit of the middle of nowhere but it didn't matter bc we called Uber all the time. They provide a shuttle bus but never used it. One suggestion for a triple room, it would be good to set up a table for tea or chat. Such a huge space but only a chair to seat. The flight was delayed, so there was someone at the front desk when I checked in late at night, and the service attitude was very considerate. Check-in went very smoothly! The room was clean except for the carpet which was a little bit old. The room temperature was also very comfortable. Except for the fact that the pillow is too high for my liking, everything else is very good.
