The hotel is well priced for what is offered , it is a little out away from the hustle bustle , but ideally located within 15 mins from corniche and 10 mins from grand mosque. Rooms are clean modern and good sized . The staff are amazing and ready to Assist all guests, our experience at this place was excellent for the short time spent as it was just to rest during a long flight lay over. A big thank you to Rehmet who’s was of great Assistance. Taxis are available outside the hotel and hotel staff are Always willing to assist getting a taxi from the hotel. .

It's an older hotel that doesnt live up to Sofitel brand standard anymore. However its still clean and fairlly well maintained. There are few important things that make up for this lower rate. Low water pressure and hot water being just slightly warm. Worn out equipment in the room - e.g. iron that can burn your clothes, a speaker that doesnt connect to your phone. The bed is pretty comfy, although my wife complained its too soft for her. Also the gym - trademills are not really good for more experienced runners.They seem cool but are not practical. Swimming pool water doesnt look clean (thats subjective though). Next time i would rather spend a few hundreds AED more and book a different one. And I'm all club silver member and do stay a lot in hotels around the world so I collected quite experience to be able to compare within Accor network and with other chains such as IHG. To me this Sofitel can be rated lower than some Novotel quality level hotels in Asia and MENA.

Great stay, hotel was fantastic great views of Abu Dhabi. Service from hotel staff was excellent. Enjoyed breakfast at the hotel too, great selection.

We were so shocked that the hotel room is so comfortable, clean, and there is a bathtub too?! We love our short stay here The shuttle bus came on time upon arrival and departure too My husband even get to perform his friday prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque! Highly recommending everyone to stay here if you have a longer transit! The breakfast buffet spread is simple but a good variety! The quality of the food is awesome too! But do note that it cost 62 aed per person for breakfast!

This hotel is so beautiful and elegant and its situated right across the river of the Grand Mosque. The staff were polite and helpful, beds extremely comfortable and taxis readily available to go anywhere. On a plus side as well, its located on the beach front plus it has a huge pool and even kids play area. It was a really pleasant stay and will definitely consider here again the future.

Reception team was great but the team in the cafe (Starbucks) were not attentive and were not prioritizing the customers waiting. Otherwise the room was big and had a great view. Breakfast also had a wide selection.

Requested for connecting rooms and the hotel was nice to provide. Super spacious plus there’s a living room area in between the connecting rooms. Nice stay.

I stay in this hotel regularly, very pleased with the location and the service. Roger from the reception in particular is a very friendly and helpful employee who consistently delivers high-quality work. He is consistently committed to his work and the hotel's mission, which is truly impressive.

Visited during Ramadan The breakfast was nice The in room amenity limited. I lost power in my room during the stay so I had the technical support to reset the electricity for my room. All staff friendly and nice Location wise not prime.

The hotel has great facilities. Especially the bar, Heroes is so good... The location is awesome. The concierge and bell team was so helpful. The reception team, especially Kim, was so nice and helpful. She did a great job and upgraded us to a nice suite. We were served a cute amenity in the suite for our honeymoon, and so we really had an unforgettable stay there.
