Innside Hotels in Alicante

The hotel is nice and clean with go facilities. Drink and food expensive compared to the restaurants in Alicante town. The staff are extremely rude, I had a small bag of crisps that I purchased from the supermarket, I was eating them at the pool area, when along came the pool boy said in his loudest voice, sorry you are not allowed to eat food that has not been purchased in the hotel. I was so taken aback. There was children running around with a big bag of sweets that didn’t come from the hotel, they were not stopped . We got some cocktails at night and the bar staff came up to use 3 times to ask us our room number for the bill, then came up and asked us to pay. The hotel is a good 15 /20min walk to the beach , in the 34 degree heat it was a long walk. It is all on the flat. Alicante is a nice city plenty of restaurants and shops. You can go to another quieter beach if you go on the tram 2 stop, there you can do water sports. We tried paddle boarding . Great fun. View from room was a graffiti wall, not the best

We stayed the last three nights at this hotel. We stayed exactly 10 years ago in a Level Suite with sea and beach views. Beware that on this side are some suites with really small balconies. We did stay in one of them. This time we chose the marina view. All suites on this side have huge balconies. Also, you will get stunning sunsets. However, during the daytime, it can be too hot to sit on the balcony. The marina side is much sunnier. Our suite on the 4th floor has been recently renovated because it had modern decor. There were two bathrooms: one with a shower and one with a tub. This 5-floor hotel is big with over 100 rooms per floor. The breakfast was quite crowded at 10:00. On the last morning, we went at 8:00 and it was pleasantly calm. The food selection is very wide. Our stay had a good value for the paid 153 euros per night (plus a total of 8.000 Melia points). This rate was flexible and included breakfast.

Bad experience once I arrived and checked in. I arrived at noon, a lady in front desk said it is not a right time for check in. It is ok and I understand. Then I came back at 3:30 pm, the staff said again you need to wait until 4pm. It is ok and I understand. But at this moment, another guest came and he could finish check in and went to his room, I immediately asked why he could check in but not me!? The lady said, “it depends!” What standard does the hotel has? So, for me, I wont stay in this hotel again. Why? It depends!

The room is very spacious, the bedroom and bathroom are separated, the reception staff is very nice and even delivered the luggage to the room.

This is a great spot to stay. It is central and a relatively short walk away from the shops, restaurants, old town, pier and of course beach. Remember it is a budget hotel but extremely clean and well managed. Easy check in,helpful very pleasant staff in reception. The rooms are exactly as per the photos, not tired and sad when you get there like some budget hotels. The shower is brilliant. As per other reviews the walls are thin and in peak times it may be noisy at night? I stayed in July and it was extremely quiet- I think guests respected the noise impact on other ? I slept well so no complaints.The most deceptive part is the look of the building outside, not very appealing but don’t be put off, step inside and no issues.Leaving the hotel it is a straight street to walk to the harbour and a short left to the beach.Breakfast is basic but enough to get you started and too the beach.remember, if you want a big breakfast spring for a more expensive hotel. I much prefer a clean well run hotel in a good location at an affordable price than a big breakfast.Possibly not ok for a week due to possible noise but definitely for a few nights. For me this is the perfect set up and the budget cost allows me to spend more time in the sun. I recommend it and will be back. When reading any negative reviews bear all of the above in mind, some people forget the relationship between budget hotels and the lot more expensive hotels.The direct bus stop to the airport is closed as well so convenient.

Fabulous apartment, spotlessly clean, modern and fresh. Very comfortable bed, lots of pillows and extra Duvet if needed. Our Apartment had a Beautiful Balcony overlooking the square below which has cafes and restaurants below. Kitchen is modern, basic but functional although the hob was complicated with no manual! Toaster, Fridge, Microwave and kettle. Good quality hairdryer in the bathroom that actually had a switch instead of those silly buttons you have to keep your finger pressed on, fantastic shower with large complimentary shampoo and shower gel. Plenty of towels too! Location could not have been better, 5 mins walk to the prom and all the little side streets with so many restaurants. We got the bus from the airport and got off outside the Melia hotel on the seafront which is a 5 min walk from the apartment. You have to check in at the hotel round the corner and get the key code to your room off the reception staff first, very quick and easy!

Very nice hotel and room but no welcome water in room / no kettle or access to making hot drinks in room / no mini fridge in room , we could here people in other rooms have bed fun so sound proof is not good , I would book again on my second Choice but would not book on first choice. Hotel is near the beach We are at reception if they had complimentary water and they pointed me to a vending machine. This was 11 o’clock at night next door and purchase water, vending machine prices. All round a hood 2 - 3 star hotel

Yes, a total of five rooms were set, one of which was free for an extra bed for the little ones. There is an additional charge for parking, and there is a very small swimming pool on the roof. The foreigner is watching the sun very seriously.
