Hotel Rio Malecon

We just spent 2 weeks at Hotel Rio. The best location, the best rooms and the best bar and restaurant. Thank you Carlos and the crew at Coexist (Kevin, Niva and Nacho) for our 2 weeks so good. Rooms very nice, we had a corner king with a wrap around balcony. The food and cocktails at the restaurant is top notch. We had breakfast lunch and dinner during our stay and food was very good. You can’t beat the location. Thank you Hotel Rio for such a wonderful vacation. Before we left we made our reservations for February 2025
Hotel Mousai - Adults Only

Much Better places in the area for the money. Everything is an upsell. A week before your checkin you get multiple emails trying to upsell everything. If you ask a question or for help with a reservation it’s ignored from the pre-arrival concierge. I am sure I would have got a response if interested in 3 for 1 spa appointments… I would highly reconsider if you are looking at this place. I have had much better experiences at Hyatt Ziva and Grand Velas. Ziva is a much lower price point too and they are superior. Bought the all inclusive plan and there are restaurants were excluded. Never experienced that other AI’s. At checkout billed for pool drinks they never told me was a charge. I ordered a jack and coke and a shot of tequila. Didn’t ask for a special tequila either. Lunch was a euro. Not on the “premium” pay all inclusive menu. Timeshare from the moment you check in is extremely aggressive. I actually agreed to a tour as the lady was nice and genuine so I thought. However next morning I got word my friend passed away and told them I was sad and not attending hours before and got a voicemail “I’m sorry you are grieving but that friend would say move on and do our timeshare tour. “ what?! Hotel Mousai Property is not beachfront I’m not interested in a timeshare. Especially to a different building at Garza Blanca I am not staying in that has kids lol. Be upfront about this at checkin but this was by far the most aggressive pitch I have seen which is disappointing at this price point when you decline multiple times. Especially the classless response when I lost a friend
Crown Paradise Golden All Inclusive Resort - Adults Only

This is an affordable all-inclusive place to stay with a nice beach for swimming and sitting on the sand. There isn't much shade but you can rent a beach umbrella and chairs. The lobby and buffet are open air so it can get really hot during the warmer months. The food was safe, but unremarkable. There was a good variety of choices everyday and each night at the buffet had a theme, such as Mexican, Seafood night and BBQ to name three. We were there at the beginning of October and the weather was still quite hot and the Air Conditioning in the inside restaurants was not quite strong enough to cool the place down, but the servers were excellent. I was worried before arriving that the hotel would be noisy at night, but they have a night club for the resort across the street for all of the late night partiers making the hotel a quiet place to rest and sleep. However, one of the elevators must have been over something very stinky because most of the time, there was a smell of sewer for a lot of our rides. It was the elevator that was for the rooms on the beach front side of the hotel that went up to the 7th floor. The other elevator in that section only went up to the 6th floor. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on a top floor with roof exposure so our room was never able to cool down below 77 degrees despite the hotel's efforts to fix the AC so I had difficulty sleeping. I understand the lower rooms were nice and cool for sleeping. The maid did a great job keeping our room clean! This is a great place to stay for those who like a busy active beach area. It is centrally located which makes it easy to go into town or access tours. The hotel staff was great. If you want a more relaxing, quieter beach and pool, you will probably need to go elsewhere.
Casa Ritual

The hotel is very quiet and makes you feel at home. The staff is very kind and pleasant. Always wearing face masks and keeping a safe distance The breakfast is tasty, we appreciated the fruit and the waffles wish they had some coffee or tea also in the evening. The pool area is lovely just wish the water of the pool was bit warmer. The location is very convenient in a beautiful neighbourhood with plenty of amenities within walking distance a church and very close to the airport We will gladly come back in the future. Ohh my only complaint is that they didn’t have more soap we used the one they gave us when we arrived and the they didn’t have anymore in the hotel 🥴
Los Arcos Suites

I was originally going to give this hotel a great review. We are not picky happy to go with the flow. We know what we book so don’t expect extra. But on our last day our flight didn’t go until 7 pm. Our flight didn’t get here until almost 8 pm so why aren’t we doing the 24 hour thing They cut us off everything at 11 am. Almost treated us like criminals on the beach chairs. Telling us we had to go back and get different bracelet's on. We have over tipped everyone here being appreciative of where we are. But honestly they don’t care tip no tip. Probably will never stay here again
BellView Hotel Boutique

We had a wonderful stay at the bellview in PV. From the friendly and helpful front desk to the attentive waiters in the amazing Capella restaurant, the service was impeccable. Daniella and Chantal in the front office offered a wealth of information and we’re always present to assist us with a smile. Truly appreciated. We were celebrating a birthday and the front desk sent the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries to our room. We also had dinner in the restaurant, and enjoyed the strolling violinists and the delicious food served facing the fabulous view and sunset. One day we had forgotten to turn our “make the room sign” and when we returned late afternoon we wanted to get some fresh towels and within just a few minutes, someone came to refresh our bathroom. The hotel itself is quaint and tastefully appointed with each room having its own charm. Ours had an exceptionally large balcony o overlooking Our lady of Guadalupe church. In addition to being large we enjoyed having a veranda complete with a fountain ( hence the name fuente Milagros) Bedding was firm just the way we like it. Overall a great stay! We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place.
