Simple breakfast but costs not competitive.

The hotel environment is very good, located in the woods, especially the hotel's swimming pool is very large, the transportation is also very convenient, next to the village, there are restaurants in the hotel, very convenient

Very unfortunate that the only option for food was a buffet, which was nothing special and very overpriced.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel der in eine ruhige Gegend ist. Wenn man abschalten möchte ist es auf jeden Fall das richtige !

Bad Boekelo has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The bedrooms are clean, Breakfast is a buffet which is ideal. All the staff are very helpful and kind. My criticisms would be that the mattresses are very thin. There is no body lotion or flannels. But the hot water pressure was excellent .

Very Nice Area, good restaurant, what else for a business trip! I’ve been there for 3 nights travelling for a training with colleagues at Johnson Control Tyco warehouse and office and I enjoyed going back everyday to this quiet and lovely place to havé a rest. Carole Chazé Johnson Control Tyco

The junior suite was spacious and very confortable. Our grandson had his own quarter and toilet. Having a bath and douche combination was really nice. The room was a bit warm but we had a fan. It would be good to have a mosquito / insect window in the main room not only the living room. The swimming pool was just what we needed, enjoyable, nice temperature. The hotel had a massage and beauty place. I got the best neck, shoulder and back massage. I also had a wonderful face massage, nails treatment and eyebrow treatment. All four highly recommended ! Breakfast and coffee were good and no waiting in line. Planning to come back soon ago.

This hotel already existed when I lived close more than of a century ago nut I hadn't been here in a long time. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful and quiet surroundings, big rooms with a nice terrace, friendly staff, possibility to rent bicycles, swimming pool, good breakfast. The only little thing I missed was a water cooker or possibility to make tea or coffee in the room.

The location is great. In the woods, very calm and idyllic, we really managed to relax well. At the same time, very close to Enschede and Hengelo (in case one wants to go shopping). The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The heating was perfect. The balcony giving access to the yard was just marvelous. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The restaurant was exceptional - everything was very delicious and prepared with high quality products (probably the best coffee I've ever had at a hotel). The rib-eye steak we had for dinner was the best ever, especially in a combination with a cold Grolsch Weizen. Keep up the good work!

The room is neat and spacious. Recently renovated. However, the entire resort is old and not well maintained. They should remove the tennis court because it is completely overgrown. The entrance is old, the garden by the rooms has not been touched. The windows by the pool are boarded up, so you cannot look outside. There are also asylum seekers at the resort (who of course have to live somewhere) but I do not think this is a good combination. In addition, I think € 200, - for 1 night (without breakfast) is quite expensive. The surroundings are beautiful.

(Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion about my stay at this hotel.) This is a hotel/resort that has set the bar very high by claiming to be 4-star and the price is also on the high side. When you walk to the entrance you can already see that the 4-star level is not achieved. The website features a Trip Advisor logo with Best of the Best 2024, but the weeds come to meet you everywhere. Did they cut back on the gardener?!? Feels like faded glory... The closer you get to the entrance, the more signals you get that this is not what they claim. Dirty e-choppers that are crooked next to the entrance, Zoover Recommended 2013 on the entrance, a full ashtray at the entrance that was not emptied and only got fuller every day, a somewhat strange situation at the reception because they cannot find the reservation. We seem to have landed in a construction pit, because they are expanding and removing the plaster from the outside wall. We knew that the restaurant was being renovated, but the rest was a surprise, which caused quite a bit of inconvenience. Sitting outside on your terrace is simply not possible! Bicycles are put in a shed, and then there is a sign at every socket that says that you can only charge your bike between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM. (?!?) Once in the room, the next disappointments come. The website claims that all rooms have been recently renovated, but that is far from the truth. The only thing that has been replaced fairly recently is the floor. Carpeting replaced with a PVC floor. Corners of the furniture are damaged, walls and ceiling dirty, shower full of limescale. Hardly any sockets, and especially no sockets by the bed. And... when you turn off the light, you also turn off the power to the sockets. So in the morning your phone is not charged for when you want to go out. There is a coffee machine in the room, with 2 capsules of coffee. No tea, while it was stated that you have coffee and tea in the room. So back to the reception. Without batting an eyelid they say that you can exchange your coffee cups for tea cups at the reception and when I ask about the hot water they say that you have to flush the coffee machine once. Tea water through the same outlet that coffee comes through... that water retains a bit of the coffee taste even after flushing it 10 times. You can buy extra cups for €0.60 at the reception. Back in the room we try the coffee machine, but it stops every time after a little bit of water has come out. It seems as if the water volume has not been adjusted properly. So we keep pressing the button until the cup is finally full. What a goodie! I think that the shower has clearly not been renovated. Joints full of limescale, and holes in the wall have been filled with white sealant. An electrical outlet by the sink that does not meet today's safety standards for electricity in the bathroom of a 4-star hotel room! We're going

Zonde dat je in dit hotel met prima gerenoveerde kamers, goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel erg veel overlast ondervindt van de +/- 60 asielzoekers/nareizigers die hier verblijven. Tot in de late uurtjes last van zeer jonge kinderen die over de gangen rennen en schreeuwen en groepen die vooral 's avonds luidruchtig bij het zwembad en de wellness omhangen. Ook in het restaurant zijn ze voortdurend aanwezig. Hier zit ik niet op te wachten wanneer ik voor de rust dit Wellness hotel boek. Sauna bestaat uit dames en gemengd deel. Je kunt gewoon vanuit het gemengde deel gewoon naar het dames gedeelte lopen.... Jammer dat hier vanuit het hotel niets aan wordt gedaan en hierdoor is het verblijf de prijs echt niet waard en dit voor ons een reden om dit hotel niet weer te bezoeken. Jammer.
