Very clean hotel, giant space inside room. The hotel is a very tall building located at a preferred location in the downtown Charlotte area. The hotel services are very inclusive, you get whatever you need immediately.

This was such a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here when I am back in the area again.

There was construction going on at time of our stay, so could hear work above our room during the day, but otherwise enjoyed our room.. Clean & comfy bed, nice shower, great location.

My husband and I came here for 3 nights so we could go to the Nascar Hall of Fame. The hotel is located uptown close to museums and restaurants. We were gifted these nights by another family member so we had access to the M lounge. The positives: 1) The staff manning the front desks are fabulous. They're patient and upbeat, and were so helpful with directions and places to go. 2) STOKES: This is the restaurant in the hotel. It's farm-to-table and delicious. The staff here is also great (Emily and Maria were our servers each night). We ate breakfast and dinner here twice. 3) The rooms are cool and you can control the AC. The beds are SUPER comfy with nice linens. I also liked the layout of the room. The shower always had hot water. We really liked the room. 4) Everything is incredibly clean. Like, sparkling clean. All of this would have made it a 5 STAR hotel. But......for me the noise level was tough. The lobby / bar area is very loud, to the point where you have to shout a little to be heard at Stokes. It has something to do with the acoustics. And being that this is the center of the city, you can hear traffic, loud music......a little of everything even late at night. I woke up a lot. Also, parking is so expensive. The guys running it are great, but it's $58 a day. You don't have to valet, but it's recommended. Lastly, the M lounge: Nice and quiet, also super clean. We had access to a free breakfast, and then snacks and desserts. It's quite nice in there. The food, however, is not that good. We had breakfast there once and then ended up at Stokes both mornings. BTW...we saw in some reviews that there were elevator issues. We had none. We never had to wait!

There must’ve been some reason I chose this hotel after reading all kinds of reviews, and it must’ve been the price because it needs to be refurbished! The chair and ottoman should be given away for free because of all the rips ! If they took that out, the room would be better. The toilet is partway under the bathroom ledge for the sink. So that is very strange! Our TV remote was not functional at all, and our safe was in operable! I had to take all my jewelry and cash with me every time we left the room! On the upside, The cookie was great and the staff was super kind! There’s not a real easy way to get your luggage from your car to the room unless you park by the main entrance and unload. We had asked the clerk to fix the two issues while we were gone all day. When we got home at 4:30, nothing had been done . This hotel does not measure up to the hotel chain I have stayed at in the past! I really did appreciate the peloton in the gym! Paper napkins instead of towels were provided though. I did have a great night sleep, and I really liked the bedding! Pillows were nice and fluffy and there were four on my double beds just for me! Hubby slept great to in the next bed.

Traveled here for my 40th birthday with friends. Hotel parking lot & roads are under construction but inside the hotel was nice. We had a problem with our room but immediately they changed my room with no problem. The hotel has a roof top lounge that was great. Also it has other restaurants & bars inside. We enjoyed our time there & barely left the hotel because it was so much to do in the hotel. It was worth the stay.

May 4th on the night shift Mr. Cleo was amazing! I was trying to print some documents for work and my business file had a security encryption on it. Which did not allow me to use the public hotel printer available for all guest. Mr. Cleo did not hesitate and even stopped what he was doing to print my pages for me. I really appreciate his courtesy for my needs.

I stayed here with my family for a three day long vacation. We LOVED it. We needed a pack n play crib for our youngest and they were very accommodating even though we checked in late! Also, they had a fantastic breakfast. Very very clean with the best views!
