I booked so many hotels in Ctrip, saying that the service charge and tax are included, but the hotel still insists on collecting $30 a day for a total of $180. And when entering the store check-in, the front desk waitress said that it already included this fee. I don't know what Ctrip's 133.32 service fee and tax are? Because the plane can only be paid first. I hope Ctrip gives a statement!

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that aren’t accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they weren’t available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, don’t stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they were…sold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and there’s a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? This resort is absolutely amazing from the staff to the amenities. I felt very comfortable here as a first-time solo traveler. I received daily text messages from staff checking in on me which I appreciated so much. I loved it there. Definitely my go to hotel for each time I visit Orlando!

The hotel is huge and there are many meetings held and the breakfast is great. The environment is also good, the sanitation is also very good, the facilities are very new, and it is also very close to tourist attractions. I will stay here again.

The hotel is within the scope of Disneyland and has shuttle buses to Magic Kingdom and Disney Spring. There are also water taxis to Hollywood studio. In addition, the hotel has many facilities, such as swimming pool, restaurant, laundry, gym, and gaming center.

Great stay at this Marriott Vacation Club property. The property is about 2 miles from the Disney entrance. It offers free parking and is located inside the Marriott Worlds center property. Location: the Sabal Palms is a little difficult to navigate too. There are few signs directing where to go. Your gps will not lead you directly to the property. To get to the property stay to the right when you pull onto World Center DR. You will see the other Marriott Vacation properties on the right. The Sabal Palms is in the back. The great thing about the sabal Palms is that you can walk directly on the Marriot worlds center property in less than ten minutes. Activities: they have plenty of activities to do on the property and can utilize the other vacation properties amenities. You can also use all the amenities at the Marriott world center. Rooms: the best thing about renting a Vacation club property is the space! The room is big enough for a large group. There are two beds in the guest bedroom with a bathroom attached. The master bedroom is massive and leads off to the balcony. The only complaint I have is the master bedroom. The shower is massive with a glass wall. It allows light to pour into the room at night which doesn’t make for a restful night if you like your room pitch black. Property: the property is easy to navigate and very clean. However it is at the back of the Marriott World Center where the dumpsters are. Convenience to Disney, value and safety makes this a great property for your family’s Disney vacation.

In a newly developed area. All facilities are new and smart (including light buttons/smart toilets, etc.). The four pillows seem to be at different heights, which is very considerate and comfortable. The mineral water provided by the hotel is very delicious. There are several good restaurants in the hotel. There are also very good coffee shops and a shopping mall within walking distance. What I don't like is that the place where the shower gel is placed in the bathroom is very low? The previous guest can step there to take a shower. It doesn't seem very hygienic to put the facial cleanser in these places~ Everything else is good. If you don't mind being a little far from the Disney park, I highly recommend this place~

After reading the previous reviews, I was hesitant to book here. But Marriott's have always been the best in vacation resorts. I was not disappointed. Check in was a breeze, friendly, courteous, helpful associates. The grounds are immaculate. Pool area clean and relaxing. The villa was excellent, well appointed, clean and had plenty of towels, paper products, etc. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. Love the full size washer and dryer in the unit. We appreciated the screened porch, relaxing and enjoying the view and the sound of the water feature and the turtles sunning themselves in the warm sand and of course watching the golfers. There were no additional parking or resort charges. An added bonus was access to the Marriott Orlando World Center and the variety of restaurants. We used the shuttle over and didn't have to worry about parking and/or walking. They took you to the entrance and were continually back and forth until late at night. The laser light show at the pool area is unique. We also seen the fireworks at Disney from our villa each night. They were a good distance away, but we could easily see them. There were also many daily planned family activities, but we didn't participate because we were there to visit friends. The Royal Palms front desk must be attended all night. We checked out in the early a.m. hoping to get a head start on the I-4 traffic (I think it is 24-7) and the associate was helpful and pleasant - the perfect ending to a perfect week. The only things I would change is added handicap parking spaces and removal of the huge whirlpool tub from the main bedroom in order to expand the second bedroom.

In short this is one of the best resort experiences of my life and I consider going to resorts my favorite hobby. We originally reserved a week through our timeshare exchange and then booked an additional room when our best friends decided to join us as well. Flights were delayed so it was nearly midnight when we checked in. Security: I was immediately impressed that the gate guard even made our taxi driver show his ID before allowing us through. Activities: I knew we would be in for lots of treats and things to do but I had no idea that there would be 10-12 activities per day. Most are free but some cost extra, usually minimal. Customer Service: The best. Checking in at midnight is no fun for travelers or hotel workers but we were greeted with a smile and she made sure we had our acitivty schedule and knew what benefits we had available during our stay. All staff was lovely and friendly. Rooms/Rec Areas: Both rooms were amazing, very clean and well kept, and the grounds were immaculate. The pools and hot tubs were always crystal clear. Food/Drinks: We ate from the poolside restaurant a few times and the food was delicious and portions plentiful. Drinks from the bar were great, tip your servers and bartenders folks - it goes a long way. We can’t wait to go back!
