We’re in Downers Grove, just off the I-88 and around half an hour’s drive from downtown Chicago. The Alter Brewing Company is 3 miles away and the Morton Arboretum is 10 minutes from us. Enjoy our heated indoor pool, fitness center and weekly managers reception. Our comfortable suites all feature fully equipped kitchenettes.

Chef Jeffrey Dobbs was outstanding and the bartender David made a very good Old Fashioned for me. Chef Jeffrey cooked up a salmon dinner perfectly. He also whipped up a delicious dessert of ice cream, chocolate brownie with fudge sauce. Chef came out to say hello and was quite personable. Five plus stars for Chef Jeffrey!!!! Your people at the front desk in the PM hours were not the sharpest and or attentive. Walked by the front desk many times since I stayed at this property five nights on two different business trips. The evening front desk group looked as if they did very little to nothing productive. Just standing at the front desk waiting for their shift to be over. Note: There were other more competent looking and productive people at the front desk that showed interest in what they were doing during the morning hours. I'll stay at this property again because Maria who is the breakfast hostess in the morning is very nice. Your breakfast selections and quality is excellent. Kudos to Chef Jeff again for the breakfast quality/taste and of course Maria who makes sure each guest is attended to and coffee if hot and ready. See you next time.

Hotel hardware configuration is OK, the environment is good, the room is big. However, a resort fee will be charged. There is another unpleasant one. I forgot a pair of shoes and found it in the room the next day. Originally it was my own care but the hotel did not look for it.

Located adjacent to the Drury Lane theater with easy access to main thoroughfares. Clean rooms, nice lobby, friendly service, and there's a restaurant & bar on site. Tho, we always order Chicago-style pizza be delivered to our room - Giordano's deep dish!

Good service and really clean

Very clean, friendly, professional staff, and I love the amenities. A pleasant, sweet scent in the room is the first thing I noticed! There was a refrigerator with freezer in a cabinet under the wide flat screen T.V. and a microwave. Desk with an ergonomic chair, and couch with ottomans to rest your feet. King-sized bed was plenty comfortable with plush pillows to rest my head and neck. There’s a decent small space for the sink, which leads to the bathroom. Very clean bathroom, and hot water was available through my weekend stay. Good air conditioning, and view of my car from my room. There’s also an ironing board and iron. Not every hotel has that. There’s a restaurant next door that gives a 10% discount to hotel guests. 😃. The drive into Chicago was half an hour - an hour without traffic jams or detours. I enjoyed my stay, and I would book a reservation again.😃

This is a well kept motel I'm shocked to be honest great deals nice clean rooms never met to many workers that enjoy there job God bless staff victoria she has a beautiful spirit my soul sister 😏 staff yogi is awesome as well great place I recommend this spot to any and all when you need something fixed they coming ASAP check the pics lol

I highly recommend this hotel I have stayed here a couple of times and it never disappoints. I love the breakfast that they serve its better than most hotels. Also the staff is super friendly. This is my place for when I want to take some time off of my every day life, so many near malls and stores it’s a great locations.

I had the WORST experience at Staybridge Suites today (3/17/23) via Ray Lakes. Prior to arrival, my friends and I booked two (1 queen, 2 double bedroom) suites. We received a call saying that due to renovation, those rooms were not available. Instead, they offered us 2 king suites. When we arrived, it took 20min to check us in because they couldn't find the reservation. When we got to the rooms, 1 of the rooms was a regular queen room and the other was a king suite. The king suite was dirty. It had not been cleaned from whomever was there before. There was a big garbage bag full of trash in the room and the bed was unmade. When we went downstairs to tell the front desk, Ray Lakes told us that the housekeeper told him that the room was clean and that no other worker would have approved or agreed to give us 2 king suites because they aren't on the same floor. When we shared that that was the information we received when Staybridge called us back, he preceeded to try and convince us that the reservation on file was the one we made initially. We told him that the person must have entered it in incorrectly and that we had no reason to lie. From there, we were talking to each other about our experience when Ray asked my friend to stop talking about it because there were 2 other guests next to us and he didn't want their experience to be ruined. From there, my friend explained that we were having a private conversation about our experience and how his expectation was unreasonable. We eventually asked his name and when my friend wrote his name down, he told us that we should find another place to go for our sake, such as Holiday Inn and Residence Inn because he could see a domino effect happening. Another manager, Scott, was so kind and apologized for our experience. When I was sharing with him our experience, Ray Lakes told him to go do something else. I have NEVER seen this happen EVER. Ray Lakes was so rude and disrespectful!
