I was in Tashkent in October 2022. I chose this hotel because the rooms have quite a large area and the price is not very high. At that time there were almost no other cheaper options, and all of them had very small rooms. Initially booked the hotel for 3 days to understand whether it would suit me, but planned to live 1-2 week in Tashkent, and then fly to Dubai. As a result, the hotel did not arrange me, and therefore did not extend it. The main reason is very bad Wi-Fi. It is quite unstable, constantly disabled. Speed changes greatly during the day. Late night and night work fast (probably at this time few users) and the rest is very slow. I had to broadcast the daytime, so for me it was critical. Mobile Internet (try Ucell and Bilaine) didn't help, speed and stability too are insufficient. The second minus is the location. The hotel is far from the city center. So go to the center for quite a long and far (but cheap - Yandex taxi in Tashkent is cheap). And many deliveries of food refuse to deliver to the area. The room is spacious. In general, the hotel is beautiful. Furniture in the room is erased, but it is not critical to me. On sound isolation - in the room I have never heard neighbors. Sometimes airplanes are heard because there is an airport nearby, but it didn't bother me. And sometimes you hear muezin, but too quite quiet. The room is blackout curtains, so if you close the curtains, the room is dark, sleep well. Small minus - very small safe. It has a huge hardness to enter even the iPad (you have to insert it under the corner and put it in a tilted position on the wall). The last day the hotel turned off the light for a few minutes. The air conditioner is periodically broken (2 times in 3 days), it needs to be re-enabled in the shield. In October the room is quite cold, but if the air conditioner is put on heating, it turns out normal. On breakfast there are many different dishes, everything is delicious. Especially liked the puffed pancakes. Maintenance and cleaning everything is good. Cleaning 1 times a day. On the last day I picked up another hotel, but saw that there was a cheap direct ticket to Dubai, and flew there :) Plus: - spacious rooms - quite quiet - price - good breakfasts Minus: - very bad Wi-Fi, not suitable for work - location - Far from the center, there are not many deliveries - a small safe of Over: The hotel is not bad, but next time I will look for in the center and with a better Wi-Fi.
The hotel room is quite big and the sheets are washed. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a little smaller. Breakfast is quite rich. 15 to 20 minutes walk from the subway station. The service staff was good. When I left, I helped to call a local taxi to the train station. The price was cheap. Because there is no good communication, the taxi driver refused to collect our car money, saying that he did not collect cash, and we did not have to pay the money in the owner's card. We can't get off the bus. When we arrive at Buhari, we will call the boss to see how to pay him back. The boss said that we don't have to worry. He will pay the driver on his mobile phone and say that there is not much money. Since we can't come back to pay, we won't charge us. Wow, it's so good people. I will come back next time I have a chance.

Location: Although the stay inn is not located next to the subway, fortunately, it is cheap to take a taxi to anywhere in Tashkent, so it is also very quiet in a residential area. Next to it is the local supermarket chain Korzinka, so you can buy drinks and food. Very convenient
Facilities: The hotel is newly opened for three months, so the air conditioning and hot water pipes are generally very comfortable, a bit like a light luxury business style. However, the decoration smell is still very strong. If you are concerned, please don't try to move in easily. You can wait for a while, but later I got used to the decoration smell by opening the windows and turning on low-temperature air conditioning. The mattress is quite soft, I had a good sleep! The desk lamp can wirelessly charge mobile phones but there is no wire
Service: Front desk and breakfast service staff are very nice
Breakfast doesn't have much variety but it's okay
There were some student groups staying in this hotel when I checked in. It felt like a ball game, and it was quite lively.

We only stayed one night but the staff were absolutely wonderful - so friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived in our taxi, someone met us at the car to take our bags. I was near the end of my US Dollars, but they were more than happy to take payment in a combination of USD and Som. We had to be at the airport at 11:00pm and, even though we’d checked out in the morning they were happy to keep our bags all day and evening, so we could pick them up on our way back to the airport. We were upgraded to a suite, which was fabulous and so comfortable. For most of our trip around Uzbekistan, we stayed in small traditional guest houses, so this was the only modern hotel we stayed at, but I’d definitely recommend Old Tashkent Hotel. Breakfast had the largest variety of choice than anywhere else we’d stayed and, if you’re there at the right time of year, you can have breakfast on the outdoor terrace, looking over the city. A wonderful stay with such lovely staff.
Wonderful location and great quality service. Large room in contemporary style furniture. Warm and comfortable beddings. Great 24hr access to a Hot water and central heating is kudos to this hotel during this winter season.
Hotel Personal is helpful and open for assistance at any time upon guest request.
Cons: Circulating security guard in the main lobby with swinging car keys in his hands is unfortunate site seeing.
Wishing bar could stay open past midnight. During my stay the hotel pool and spa center was not operating and closed.
Overall best value hotel from 20 in the city
Location is OK, in the city center, there are Chinese restaurants nearby, about 15 minutes walk, the price is a little expensive, the conditions and services are not bad, the room is still relatively small.
Location is not far from the center, may be in a mahal with a deadlock but in this and plus silence always preserves. Rooms are very comfortable, comfortable , pillows , blankets, bed change during the whole room every day clean every day (on request) . In the shower there is everything you need (champoo, soap, toothpaste brush ...) . And the most important thing is a bar where you can drink tea, coffee, eat any time. And breakfast is very delicious.I still want to stop about the administration(repepschn), guys are very friendly, help solve problems, although with locations where to eat where to go to entertain, call a taxi , Even very well raise the mood with a positive character. Very excellent hotel for rest Don't regret , I advise you too.

GGuest UserI stayed for a little over a week and was very happy with the experience. The nicest, most helpful staff ever. Everyone speaks Uzbek, Russian, English. Great breakfast, with a variety of fruits and berries, local sweets, as well as salads, fresh local dairy, eggs and a selection of meats and cheeses. Quick laundry service. The clothes were brought back clean within hours when turned in by 11 am. The hotel is located next to Amir Temur Square and a Bazaar, as well as within the walking distance from The Great Prince Romanov Palace. A block away from the hotel is a very nice coffee shop called Beans and Brews. Great food, great coffee. There's also a KFC right next door. One little wrinkle is that when you order a cab via local app Yandex Taxi, the drivers don't always know they should come to the hotel entrance; they tend to stop at a KFC or across the street. It's useful to message them separately about where you need to be picked up.
GGuest UserWe stayed here 3 separate times in 15 days. The staff throughout were helpful, personable, and always had a smile. There was an exchange machine (Som to dollars and vice versa), and an ATM. The location was good for us; close to the market, shops and several restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was very good but a bit expensive. As others have said, breakfast was second to none! There was everything you could wish for, including freshly cooked eggs. All in all, we enjoyed our stays here very much.
Shaxjahon hotel.
RRamonI arrived at 2300 and there is a monopoly of taxis. Frankly, I just wanted to get to the hotel so I hired the official airport taxi (there is a stand before customs, as well as money change facilities). The driver had a little difficulty locating it, but it is actually a couple hundred of meters from a mayor street.
After traveling in China, I was relief to notice that the people at the hotel speak English (thanks Haselbeck). The room is clean and right behind the reception, at street level. Since the windows open, I asked Haselbeck about the crime situation and he laughed, stating that this doesn't happen in Uzbekistan.
Breakfast was very good, with cold meats, eggs, cereal, cookies, cake, tea, coffee and blynis. While having breakfast I spoke to a person from India who was working is Tashkent about how he transports, since the Metro is about 1600 m away. He laughed it and told me to use Yandex Go and order taxis. Great find! They are really inexpensive .
DDonovan_lNestled amidst the vibrant streets of Tashkent, the Ramada Tashkent offers a tranquil oasis for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay.
The rooms at Ramada Tashkent exude a sense of understated elegance, with modern furnishings and plush bedding that provide the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploration. There was not much of a view of the city skyline (as we were on level 2), but every detail was carefully curated to ensure a restful and rejuvenating experience. They even sent a complimentary fruits platter to the room as it was my mother’s birthday. Definitely will come back and stay again.
Advantages
✅10 min to/ from the airport
✅1km from Tashkent train station
✅Some food options within walking distance
✅Nice and quiet neighbourhood
MMukhammaddilyorI liked the location hotel cleanness and both night and morning shift receptions the only problem is on food :( In Uzbekistan, hotel foods are in Chinese!!! It is good for Chinese but for Uzbeks it is trash! Before my visit they told me not to accept Uzbeks! How come is this? Actually, before checking I booked the Hotel with my Korean Card! They told me you booked already no problem you can stay.. this time but normally our boss doesn't allow uzbeks to stay because our Boss is Chinese!! What the hell? In Uzbekistan Chinese boss is racist! Do your business in China then! What the hell you are doing In Uzbekistan?
GGuest UserBecause the special circumstances, this review is only about the the services. Because I mistakenly booked our flight one day earlier than our hotel booked (at another hotel), we found ourselves without a hotel room in the middle of the night. I tried all booking platforms and failed to find one allowing me to book that night because it had passed the mid night and were only showing the “new date”. Finally I accidentally bumped into Star Hotel and allowed me to still book that night.
The owner of Star Hotel was shocked when we showed up around 1am, because he had closed booking for that night. But still he welcomed us and frankly explained that the rooms were all booked and would let us choose a room reserved for their employees. They saved us from a night in the streets and the owner and his staff were very kind, friendly and helpful! We are forever grateful !
GGuest UserYou stay here for the experience not the quality of the hotel! This place is kitsch and a wonderful relic of the cold War! Stayed here twice as part of a group tour and was charmed by the haphazard nature of the place! Reception is a vast space with plenty of seating and a bar at one end. You can get cold beer here that you can take away to your room. Both rooms we had were large with twin beds at one end and a loungue type area at the other. The major bonus was we had a balcony each time; great views from the higher floors and a good place to hang out some washing! The first room the balcony was accessible from two doors, the second room had one door blocked with a chest of drawers and the handle removed! Bathrooms are a bit dated and you sometimes have to wait for hot water! Not all rooms have balconies so you might need to request. The money exchange was really useful, although they wouldn't change local currency back again. The rooftop bar is actually the top floor as opposed to on the roof but the windows open in and you get great city views. Breakfast buffet is excellent, especially the omlette chef! Location of the hotel is also strong, metro just to right of entrance and lots of attractions, bars and restaurants in walking distance. A couple of reviews say Reception staff don't speak great English - you can get round this with Google translate so not a big deal. We also had two people on our two given each others passports - the onus is definitely on you to check! If you don't mind quirky this hotel is for you!
GGuest UserIt is functional accommodation with a central location walkable to the metro, and amir square right behind the hotel Uzbekistan. Pros: 1. Smooth check-in 2. Rooms are small but functional 3. it is an old property but functional in a good manner 4. Helpful staff, Reception will help to book Yandex taxi 5. Large and decorative lobby with ample seating 6. Recommended if budget is a concern - MId segment 7. Breakfast - Nice one with clear demarcation of VEg and non Veg items 8. In-house Indian restaurant - ”Rajkapur” 9. Lots of parking and located on the main road - Easy to access by walking or taxi or public transport Cons: 1. Nothing since we consider it to be a basic but functional and clean premise for a couple of nights We stayed one night and it worked for us, we may return for short stay again
