Family-friendly Hotels in Guilin

The hotel is not situated in the city centre, but it only takes you a few minutes cab/hired car ride to the city centre. It costs around RMB 10 to city centre where you can find more eateries. I love the beautiful hill scenery from my room, which is a kind of postcard view. After every dinners, I like walking in the spacious garden area outside the hotel lobby. Quiet, comfy and relaxing! I find some foreign tourists in the morning buffet session, so it must be a good choice for foreigners who might trust an international reputable hotel group.

The hotel location is hard to awesom! It's walking distance to some of the best sites in Guilin and the facilities are in very good condition. The food for breakfast is excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful, although only a portion of the staff speaks English. There were very few Americans or English speakers during my visit. It wasn’t an issue, just of note. I was fortunate to have a room on the top floor facing the river and got a glimpse of a beautiful sunrise one morning. At night the musicians play by the river so it isn't the most quiet location but the view is great! One less desirable thing was they hosted a large tour group from Hong Kong on Saturday/Sunday and the group ate early and blocked access to the buffet. The staff was very apologetic and took care of me when I returned an hour later.

Location is near to everything. Walking distance. Especially at night, so many food stalls. Nearby a foodcourt also. Room wise, basic. But all the toiletries given. The reception counter is extremely helpful. I was trying to buy a luggage scale but failed miserably. No meituan app, ended up the staff help us to weight our luggage at their kitchen 😅😅 well its works. Cos we have early flight on the next day. Jolin & Ella are friendly staff and even hand us a bag of snacks to eat at airport. Thanks!

Great hotel in a wonderful and convenient location. Staff were particularly helpful and check in was super easy. In particular, Peng Min at the hotel front desk was very patient in answering all our questions about tour bookings and even helped us book a 4 start cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo for the next day. Thanks to the team at the hotel for making our stay and trip so easy and enjoyable.

Nice big hotel in the center, just in front of a lake with 2 Pagoda. Elephant trunk at 600m, Departure for night boat also very clise.

The hotel is in a very good location, in the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area, next to Rong Lake, and the scenery is quite good. Mr. Wang, the front desk clerk at the hotel, was very attentive. He helped me check the order carefully and found some conflicts. He assisted me in contacting the platform to resolve them. Thank you very much! The only drawback is that the hotel is indeed quite old. Even after the renovation, the sound insulation is relatively poor, and the dust is large, which makes people uncomfortable.

Perfect location for someone traveling by speed train! Less than 4 minutes walking from the North Station and you can litterally see the hotel from the station and vice versa. The rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. Would be nice if some were kept non-smoking. I will never give 5/5 on cleanliness for a room that smells like smoke however clean it looks. The staff was very polite. It would be nice if the hotel gave some indications on how to get around (that would make a 5/5 on service), especially that when I asked about public transport to Longji the reception couldn't help me out. Overall, I would certainly stay here again when taking the train. I would recommend to TRIP to add a price-quality rating, this hotel definitely scores 5/5.

It is a garden-style hotel with large rooms, separate wet and dry areas, and sufficient heat for bathing. The beds and pillows are comfortable. You can feed koi in the middle of the courtyard, which has an antique feel. The service staff is very enthusiastic. The front desk is very good, especially the housekeeper Xiao Yang, who warmly received us and introduced the food and attractions of Guilin. He greeted us in the morning and evening with full sincerity, which warmed our hearts. I will choose this place again.

Pro: Excellent location. We’ve paid for an executive room so room was clean and decent, there was some view overlooking people’s rooftop garden. Breakfast was ok. Con: Service was mediocre; and can be improved. Hotel front did not have ramp, it was difficult to carry big luggages going up the few steps. On our first day arriving at hotel, we had difficulty taking the big luggages going up steps. Front desk staff stood at their desk and looked at us without offering any help. Not good.

The room is very large and has been upgraded to a parent-child suite. The front desk is very warm and thoughtful, answering all kinds of questions in a timely manner. The cleaning aunt is also very attentive in providing services. The hotel is in an excellent location, opposite Vientiane City.
