The entire country of Malta is a small island, similar in size to the average prefecture-level city in China, so the location of the hotel does not matter, but it is a bit noisy near the church. The service and setting are good. The disadvantage is that the hotel restaurant has no choice for lunch and dinner except for good breakfast.

Hotel with a lot of charm, taking maximum care of the details. Very new and quite clean. Super attentive and helpful staff. Very spacious room with bathrobe, slippers and free bottle of water. We couldn't have breakfast because our flight left quite early but they prepared a box for us to our liking and seeing so much detail, we were quite sad to miss breakfast. Bookmarked in case we return. Free parking nearby

The room is big, the breakfast is very good, it is not a buffet, you order like in a restaurant, the dishes are great, the waiters are also great, the location is especially suitable for people who drive

What a great stand up 1st year baby birthday reception the food and the service was outstanding delivered by Adem Gaskin and the chef with there team. I would like to thank everyone involved for this special day.we will be back to this beautifully clean bouquet with the big church just opposite

Absolutely amazing. I am just waiting for my flight back to London but there are no words to explain this hotel.. the staff are so lovely that I forgot i was in Malta. The service is absolutely amazing and I think this hotel should be rated more than 3 stars. I know that I was there only for 2 nights but I am left without words. The rooms are clean, the showers are more powerful than the ones in London and the staff are sooo lovely that I want to go back. Thank You so much for all your hospitality and I will definitely be recommending your hotel to all my friends and family. Sagar

Easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and very luxurious amazing value for money. From start to finish the staff are really good from the moment you walk through the door. The hotel has been built really sympathetically and combines modern with old very well. The breakfast was really good with loads of cooked options. Rooftop swimming pool which we didn’t have time to sample either areas to take in the sun. All in all a great hotel only wish we had another day to just chill. I would say the hotel is ideal for the airport took us 6 mins by taxi, stay overnight if you have an early flight or just having a luxurious nights stay with use of the facilities. The area around the hotel is ok with some interesting architecture and the two former churches opposite are bars so may be worth a look.

Lovely room clean and good amenities welcome drink great , everything was excellent accept the breakfast options and service which later on the management made up after we complained. Nirosha, Preet , Chodan at the front desk very helpful. Had a fabulous time at the rooftop swimming and the girl who made the drinks at the bar was so good and the service for our dinner at the rooftop was par excellence where Adam made sure we had our last evening memorable, Vishal our server was the sweetest looking out for each and every detail from the water to the desert . The chef specially came up and asked us if we enjoyed the meal . Deepak made us nice tea and we came back home with an excellent trip very happy and relaxed . Would love to go back

This experience was wonderful. Clean, fantastic location, great food, the comfiest beds and the staff, especially Laura, Sandeep, Deepak and Maria, made it all the more special. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Try the octopus, it was stunning! We missed the BBQ, but will be coming back in 2025 to give it a try.

My sister and I came to Malta for a few weeks and decided to stay in Ghaxaq for five days as we had appointments in nearby Zejtun. Palazzo Castagna was a dream, a real home away from home. Our stay was quite enjoyable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Nirosha, Mary Joy and Chadon were particularly gems, and we ended up extending our booking for another six nights. Our room overlooked the garden and it was such a beautiful view. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Malta and may just be staying here again.

The hotel is beautiful, restored in such a traditional and beautiful way. The staff are amazing - helpful, respectful, polite and always 2 steps ahead anticipating what you need. The pool is lovely and relaxing - only “downside” is the opening hours of the pool are quite limited. However overall a great hotel and we look forward to being back!

A truly amazing palazzo hotel very close to the airport... The true definition of luxury... What boutique hotels should look like! Super comfortable beds and breakfast was divine! Superb and very helpful staff always there to help us! Even with our daily plans! Will surely be back!!!
