When we checked in, we were offered a newly renovated room. The room itself was great. A bit small but the usual Asian business hotel size. We had no hot water on two separate occasions and I did not find the female staff friendly in the slightest; however, the housekeeping staff at the hotel were AMAZING. Everything was cleaned immaculately and they were all incredibly friendly. I also booked this hotel because the booking platform says that the hotel includes on-site laundry services. I was told when I arrived that there was no such offer and was told to walk to a laundry-mat. If I had known that laundry wasn’t offered, I may have chose differently.

I took a day trip to Hong Kong and I didn’t regret booking my stay here. It wasn’t too far from the city center, just about 20 mins by taxi and 40 by bus. The service was very good, the staff were warm and welcoming. The room despite being small was very clean and tidy, just don’t forget to bring your own water. If you’re looking for an affordable stay whilst in Hong Kong, look no further.

Not a bad place, located around hills and near a small beach. There is a big wardrobe and the bathroom was big. There is a sink in the kitchen and a small refrigerator. The room is big and spacious. The bed wasn’t too big but was comfortable. We were given a music themed room without cleaning provided. There was a tent ( I suppose for a kid) Breakfast is okay not a buffet, but you can choose one of three options. The location is a bit far BUT they provide a shuttle bus to a subway station from early morning till almost midnight. No shops around but there are vending machines in the hotel. There’s a small gym and a swimming pool but it was closed.

Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West

The hotel was huge, we were on the 67th floor and had a view to die for. At first, it seemed a bit inconvenient to go from one elevator, ground Fl to 41st fl only to walk around the corner to take the higher level elevators to the 67th fl. We very soon adjusted to it though. The connecting malls were very convenient and massive with lots of choices of food. Then there’s the local street walking outside that was filled with small local restaurants too, mostly non-English speaking though. We enjoyed our stay at Nina’s for 5 nights. Will definitely return in future.
