My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The room was wonderfully warm and cozy, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The location is ideal for anyone who loves nature, offering the perfect vantage points to catch both the sunrise and sunset. It was truly magical to watch the sky change right from the comfort of the hotel. The hotel also provided jackets to keep me comfortable while outdoors, which was a thoughtful touch. Additionally, the detailed map they offered was incredibly helpful for navigating the area and making the most of my time there.

Don't bother coming to Huangshan at all unless you stay on the mountain, otherwise you'll never see the place without a crowd. Xihai hotel has a great location, rooms are well-appointed, breakfast is good especially considering everything has been hauled up there by porters, and the service is top-notch. Only criticism is the amenities included a sauna but this is only part of the (additional cost) spa. Too bad because I was looking forward to it after walking all day.

Great location, close to the spot for viewing sunset. The hotel also provides a winter jacket which really worked for -8 degrees when we were there. We enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast as well.

Check in service was great upon arriving. They will give a large printed map and advise the route to take according to your preference. They added us on WeChat to update on all services available and sunrise info. Room was clean and signage saying tap water is portable from Huangshan spring. Boba tea's tapioca balls were powdery. Resources are difficult to carry up so maybe they served us overnight pearls. Food was not cheap but understandable. Breakfast was good with the traditional buns and soy bean drink etc. There is a walkway connected to the main building from the 2nd floor of blk B. Sunrise location changed to about 40min walk (one way) in Dec so it was steps and steps again on the second day morning but it's all worth it. Best communication from the helpful staff (in Chinese)

Great hospitality by the hotel stuff 西海小陈. She and other staff guided me on the location to view sunrise and sunset. Hotel facility was great.

Perfect for the location, and the staff was so nice, breakfast was perfect. However, the room was a little bit small and not looking exactly like the pictures so we were a little underwhelmed. But we got to see sunset and sunrise from the top on the mountains, and that was actually so worth it!

The hotel is I'm a great location for sunset viewing and easily accessed from Yungu cable car. The staff were very friendly and the buffet food was excellent! We would highly recommend a stay here! Lovely 4 star hotel with comfy beds and pillows and big down jackets fro you to borrow to watch sunset or sunrise!

Perfect stay in this amazing mountain. The hotel is well located. Staff is really available to make the stay comfortable. Hotel has all services you need, you forget that you are on the top of a mountain with no access by road. Good job to all people who carry all the stuff on their strong shoulders ! Room was clean, very confortable bed. On the morning the hotel organize a sunrise tour and you have a special jacket in your room as it is quite cold in the morning. The food is great with plenty of delicious choices. I highly recommend.

This was the most expensive hotel in my whole China trip by far but it was also the best restaurant with amazing breakfast options. The room was just okay, not bad but not worth the price and it had no view from the room even though it is marked as Mountain View. It is also far (about 1 hour hike) away from the closest popular points to watch sunrise and sunset. I would consider a different hotel next time that is closer to the hiking route because it took us almost 8 hours to hike here after taking the Yuping cable way up. It was almost dark when we arrived at the hotel and we headed up the mountain at 9 am.

Excellent services, excellent location ( in the middle of the best hiking trail for the back mountain), really nice amenities given the remote location. Small accident of blocked toilet on the first day we were there but they resolved it nicely. Overall a very nice experience.

A pricey hotel but can't fault the staff. They're super helpful, nice gift received at check in. The rooms are decent but you're paying a huge premium for what it is. Overall a good experience. Wing B is rather old.

We booked elegant room deluxe area A and room was very large and clean. Location very convenient to watch sunset (10 minutes) and hotel had a guide lead a group at 5:20am to watch sunrise 30 minutes away. Front desk gave helpful map with recommended hiking trails.

Great hotel for staying overnight at peak. Nice amenities all around, with working AC, good foods and night activities. Staff was extremely helpful providing a personal yet professional service (Xihai Xiao Fang 方鑫 was our housekeeper and he provided detailed information and kept us posted of all updates was really great 👍)

Had a great stay. Excellent location. Great service. Close to the tram from north gate. Will definitely stay again if we come back for second visit

Room is clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast and dinner are good. Considering all the supplies (including construction materials and daily necessities) have to be carried up the mountain manually by workers, this hotel is as good as it can be, and not inferior to the other hotels in the cities.
