4 Star Hotels in Huangshan

We arrived at hotel wet n cold after hiking on a rainy day. We booked a triple bedder room at B block not knowing that it was away from main building. The hotel staff 纪洁was quick to react and switched us to main building as B block was 5 min away. At 11am, they let us check in so we could change into dry clothes. During the stay,,纪洁attended to us with care and warmth, sending us snacks and fruits, giving us weather alerts to see sunrise n sunset. The room is clean and spacious with comfortable beds n good quality pillows n duvet. Batyun meets our needs during our 2 nights stay n we are happy to recommend to anyone. Location is middle of Huangshan so easily accessible to hiking trails. From Yungu, we hiked the east or back mountains to reach Baiyun. It took us 3 hours. On the day it snowed, the hotel even provide us gloves n crampons n urge us to be careful. What a fantastic service from Baiyun and the staff. Thank you 纪洁for taking such good care of us.

This was my first visit to the famous Huangshan. My tour agent helped us book the entrance fee, cable car, and electric bus tickets. We needed to show our passports at every entry or boarding point, as the electronic tickets were linked to our passport numbers. The hotel we stayed at is a nice one, located right next to the Yuping cable car. However, be prepared to climb another 15 minutes to reach the hotel. We arrived early at 10 am, so our room was not available yet. We left our small backpacks at the hotel and trekked to the Bright Summit. Along the way, we saw monkeys and passed by the Baiyun Hotel. By the time we returned to Yupinglou Hotel, it was almost evening. The trek was scenic but very tiring, with many stairs. Our kind and helpful host, Yu Jian, from Yupinglou Hotel was in constant contact with us through WeChat and recommended places to visit. This hotel is closest to the Celestial Capital Peak, but I was too tired to climb it the next morning. I highly recommend climbing this peak and will do it if I have the chance to visit again. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay in. Don’t expect too many luxuries, as it’s located on top of a rugged mountain. Even the vegetables and food need to be carried by porters to the hotels, which is no easy task.

The room is very clean, warm, comfortable and quiet, with complete facilities and free bottled water. The breakfast is of good quality and rich and varied. Especially the two beautiful waiters at the front desk have a very good service attitude, are of high quality, enthusiastic, patient and thoughtful, and very friendly. Making guests feel at home is a first-class service level! The high-quality service of the two beautiful waiters at the front desk attracted many guests to continue to stay here. We just wanted to stay somewhere else after one night, but because of the enthusiastic service of the two beautiful waiters, we did not leave and continued to stay here. The hotel is located really close to the Huangshan railway station, so very convenient to stay here if you have a train early in the morning. The rooms are clean and new.

The hotel is located a few hundred metres from the Huangshan Mountain south entrance. You may walk 10-15mins to the entrance, alternatively there is a free hotel shuttle to the entrance. The room is spacious and modern with smart controls. The automated toilet bowl in my room did not work well as it flushes even when not in use. Hence a sleep disturbance . There is a bus stop just outside the hotel where the mountain tourist bus stops on the mountain downward route which is very convenient especially after a long day visiting the mountain.

Although the room is a bit old, the price is still very good in all aspects, because I am choosing on the edge of Xin'an River, the first choice for business trips is because the room is in a hurry and I didn't take a photo. I took a photo outdoors.

Although the room is not big, the facilities are quite complete. It was my first time staying in a hotel and I found that the thick toilet seat for home use was given. I hope the store will do a good job of disinfection instead of reusing it. There is a sunken booth in the hotel lobby, which is very trendy in design. The restaurant is also more authentic Western style. The breakfast is really good with many varieties. A mini bar and six bottles of sweet water were given in the room. Surprise! Overall it is good, I will stay again next time!

This is the hotel I choose every time I come here. The hotel parking lot is large, and you don't need to find a parking spot. The location is also good. It is very close to the old street, Liyang Water Street. I personally feel that it is very convenient to travel. There is also coffee in the hotel lobby. Buy one get one free, which is very cost-effective and tastes good. The room is still as clean and tidy as always. It is a pleasant stay. The receptionist Xiaocheng is very good. The service is fast and the service attitude is good. It makes people feel very comfortable and satisfied with the stay experience. I will still choose Tiandu when I come to Huangshan next time!

Hotel was great - particularly as it's on top of a mountain - and that in itself is special! Costs for everything are expensive but fair considering the location. The room is fairly small (but very functional), you won't need space as you won't have luggage. Room comes with warm jackets and a torch so you don't need to bring those things for a sunset/sunrise. We were in what seemed like a newer block so the interior was modern. Shower was hot and decent. Breakfast and dinner (180 yuan per person) had impressive variety considering everything gets up the mountain on a cable car and then manually carried to the hotel. Location is good as it's next to the Taiping cableway but we walked from the popular Yuping cableway carrying small overnight packs. It is very possible in one day! We descended the next day via the Yungu cableway which was a much easier walk. Note the closest lookout for both is a 20min uphill walk with the path starting from the hotel (and another path for those who aren't staying there.) We saw a spectacular sunset and not much of a sunrise. Both were well worth it but of course you're at the mercy of the weather. Receptionists could speak basic English and will also give you bottles of water and communicate weather and sunset conditions to you via WeChat. If you can't understand Mandarin you can use the translate function in WeChat. Free laundry service too but we didn't use it.

The location of the hotel is good. Passing by neat and tidy shops on both sides, it takes less than 1 km to walk to Liyang IN Lane and Old Street. There are many special restaurants and barbecue food stalls below/near the hotel, as well as a Pacific Shopping Center. You can often meet many tourist buses/groups in the hotel. The hotel lobby is not big, and the overall layout is a bit like a courtyard style (although there is no yard). The service is very good, and the room is large, with a large tea table, and the bed and pillow are quite comfortable to sleep on.
