The Elephant Camp

My husband and I traveled with our sons on an African adventure that included a stop at The Elephant Camp in Victoria Falls. We are all still in awe of the incredible experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality, which set the tone for the entire stay. The service was outstanding – every staff member went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, ensuring we had everything we needed and more. The camp itself is stunning, offering a perfect blend of luxury and nature. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, we were constantly surprised by the beauty of the landscape. The setting was peaceful and serene, yet full of adventure at every turn. Although our stay was only 3 days, Tendai and Marshall saw to it that we experienced everything. They created a customized itinerary for our family and welcomed us back to the camp each time we returned making us feel very welcome. Wonder was an outstanding guide: he is so patient, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about animals, and encouraged us to revel in our experience each day. He made every safari magical. George was our wonderfully kind driver who took us on many excursions ensuring we had a good time. There were many incredible servers including Thandie who was exceptional, and MK who always made us feel special. Overall, our stay at The Elephant Camp exceeded all expectations. The combination of outstanding service, exhilarating excursions, and the stunning natural beauty made it a perfect getaway for our family creating memories we will treasure forever. all around wonderful experience highly recommend everyone was very attentive beautiful Victoria falls is something you must see The river cruise is spectacular The village visit was very compelling - nice to be able to help those people This outfitter/organization has a really good heart and they have a great mission to help the people of their area Getting to be with the elephants was truly an experience of a life time That was priceless - Coco (the 47 yo matriarch) is a gentle giant. Feeding the elephants and the whole interaction with the herd is unlike anything ever experienced before. Truly unique. You don't get this experience in Kruger NP. Different than other safari experiences - totally. The staff could not have been better and the food was wonderful. The cook is a very nice man. Safari guides were more informational and educated about what we were seeing than what we have had at two other places in South Africa (KNP)

An absolutely incredible place to stay. The food and the chef were fantastic and the staff were very helpful, explained everything and set up some truly memorable experiences for myself and my family. We got to eat incredible food, go on guided trips to the falls, see incredible sights and see the gorgeous landscape and animals of Zimbabwe.

The Elephant Camp near Victoria Falls offers a luxurious, immersive experience blending comfort with wildlife interactions. The tented suites were very spacious and welcoming. The service was exceptional. We were able to get up-close with the elephants. What an amazing experience!!! We will never forget it!! We give high marks to the camp’s gourmet dining. I’m gluten and dairy intolerant. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. Everything was delivered with a smile. We feel it is a top-tier destination for its tranquility, service, incredible elephant experience and proximity to Victoria Falls.
