Amazing location and lovely room. The view of the bay is outstanding and one of the best sun sets I've seen in a long time. Breakfast was perfect although the volume of the death metal music coming out of the kitchen was a bit much at 8am. But would definitely stay again!

We couldn't have been happier with this hotel! I was a bit hesitant to book here due to some negative reviews, but our experience couldn't have been more positive! I booked the Superior room, it was more than large enough for my husband and myself, and our adult son (the rooms were separated by a 4 or 5 step staircase, our son had the upper room, we had the lower). Beds and pillows were very comfortable, the rooms and bathroom were very clean! There is a fan provided in the room, thankfully, as I sleep with a fan on year round. The kind gentlemen at the desk even put one together for my son to use, much appreciated! The breakfast was fabulous, and the woman serving us each morning was an absolute delight! All of the staff members were kind, warm, and friendly! The bar downstairs is a comfortable place to hangout for the evening, there were mostly locals in there, lovely people, great conversations! I do highly recommend this hotel!

The first 9 hotels in Sky Island before the trip are estimated to be expensive, but it is expensive, but the hotel is located in the middle of the Sky Island East-West Scenic Area. It is almost 40 to 50 in Nestor Point or the Old Man Peak. Minutes drive. The hotel is located in the bay, in a quiet environment, quiet to the extent of isolation, mobile phone signal is very poor, hotel WIFI is only available near the lobby. The surroundings are so good, so there are many cute little animals. Free parking, free breakfast, very good. The hotel has a good dinner, the former Tongan chicken liver appetizer, a grilled salmon main course, a grilled lamb chops main course, and two bottles of Sky Island dark beer (very good), for a total of 70 pounds, cheaper than the town restaurant. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped, with good toiletries and warm and thoughtful service.

A big villa, the room is really small, the bathroom is so small that it is difficult to turn around, but it is clean and hygienic, the decoration is warm and comfortable, dinner has to be taken a few kilometers away by shuttle bus, breakfast is in the hotel, it is relatively simple, the level of B&B, more than 3000 room rate in Sky Island can only be like this

I've read many of the reviews for Sligichan and while I can appreciate and understand why many have reported poor experiences, I think one has to put this property into perspective. Could the hotel use a few upgrades? Sure. Does Seumas' restaurant have the best food you will have in Scotland? No. Does everyone love their job at Seumas'? Probably not. But considering the location, the ambience, and the customer service from most of the staff, I rate this property highly. For those from the US that have reported that the property is overpriced, have you ever stayed at a property on or near a National Park? I've paid way more for a room at a NP that had no amenities and a 20 year old mattress! The property is clean, quiet, and the our bathroom was recently renovated. Additionally, the breakfasts in the AM were great, and if you have a custom order they are more than accommodating. A special shout out goes to Martin who I assume is the General Manager or something similar. While it is not necessarily a good thing for a property to have one person who can make your experience special, Martin is that person. I also had the occasion to connect with Martin after our visit and his customer service was as good after I left as it was when we were there in person. Thanks, Martin! I would most definitely go back.

Very cosy little cabin with everything needed. A little hot during summer as no air con or fan.

The data shows that the bed is more than 1.8 meters, but there are actually only 1.5 beds. Although there is a sofa on the first floor, the first floor has a musty smell and is old, and the second floor is not very big. There is no way for us to sleep, and there is no room for an extra room. The kettle is black, no toothbrush, no slippers, nothing to eat for breakfast... 3735 yuan/night is not worth it! I didn't sleep well all night on the floor. Our front desk said that three people would stay, and didn't say extra money, but after I complained that the size of the bed didn't match the description at night, I added 200 pounds + breakfast the next day. In addition, the distance is too far and it is not recommended to stay.
