City Garden Hotel Makati

Convenient location at the heart of Makati. Restaurants just outside the hotel. There's also covnenience stores and pharmacies. The hotel itself is ok. The breakfast buffet is very good, though catered for mostly Western palates. Breads and jams are good. The herb rolled cheeses melts in your mouth. Room cleaning service is provided, I think daily. They were thoughtful enough to leave a note by the door a day prior to checkout. Hot shower was not hot during my first night but was fixed the day after. Hot tub is leaking and hence, water slowly drains once I stop the faucet, that is if I wanted to soak for a nice warm bath. I hope it gets fixed. Elevator was kinda slow. Wait times long. Generally a good hotel. Will keep in my list for future bookings.

It was better than I thought Actually, I live in BGC, but I went on a staycation. It was adjacent to the greenbelt and the room condition was good. I plan to use it again next time There are two breakfast options, so they are delicious and there are Korean staff at Inception, so it was convenient.
Fairmont Makati

The ‘Unfairmont’ should be a 4 star hotel: - the worst restaurant buffet I’ve ever had … the chicken korma for example was just chicken in mayonnaise sauce and the rest was dry mean or no meat such as butter chicken curry with zero chicken in it (inattentive staff so remained like this through our dining) . The restaurant area is small so very noisy with chairs back to back so had to say ‘excuse me’ to diners behind me before moving my chat back to get out. ‘Fresh’ juices are from concentrate too. - No seats in the smoking area and signs up with diseases on. Not a place to savour a cigar. - Gym and rooms are than ordinary - Tv in the room too small to watch from the bed - Intolerable banging etc made it impossible to sleep.

Holiday Inn & Suites Makati, an IHG Hotel

I had such a great time staying here. You can’t ask for a better location. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated but you pay for location and you barely stay in your room exploring this beautiful city. Thank you so much to Harly and King at concierge. They were extremely helpful the last few days from helping me coordinate pickup for my laundry service to making sure I was always had a ride to wherever I needed to go. They go the extra mile here. We enjoyed breakfast a few days during our stay, and thank you to Ann and Joy. They hooked us up with mangos. You made our stay so much better. I will always choose this hotel due to the proximity and the service they provide.
