The resort is an integral part of the village and the local villagers were sunning their harvests next to it. So much love and dedication was done in building the place, it felt totally seamless with the surrounding traditional houses and yet, the level of luxury is no different from any 5 star hotel. You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor. They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.
