Family-friendly Hotels in Phoenix

First of all, I would like to thank Melissa Bell for booking our rooms for this trip. I can’t thank you enough for always giving that 5 star Marriott service. Melissa and her friendly staff always provide exceptional customer service. This is not the only reason we choose this property when staying in Phoenix. This trip is one of many positive experiences. The location is perfect it’s quiet and safe. There is also a bistro area in the lobby, along with a Starbucks. This time, we checked in with Ryan at the front desk. He was fantastic. Ryan seemed to be happy to assist and very enjoyable to talk to. He’s the person that needs to be at the front desk, interacting with the guests. When we arrived at our room, there were a few special momentous and a hand written note, from the friendly staff. Thanking us again for staying with them. It was a very special feeling, memorable and extremely thoughtful. As we continued to look around the room, we also noticed that the room had been fully remodeled. New shower, carpet, curtains, furniture and much more. It was beautiful. The entire hotel was being remodeled. This trip we were able to enjoy and utilize the outdoor pool in the evenings. The pool was very clean and temperature was perfect. Great and relaxing to end our long days. Our check out experience with Stacia was wonderful. She was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Matt was also there. We have always had a great check out experience with him too. They both made the rest of our stay complete. We decided to try The Westin Kierland for the first time and boy are we glad we did. I feel like their favorite words are ”sure” and ”no problem” and ”there is no charge for that”. We ended up having to change the dates of our stay by a couple days and Marcie who helped me book my package, pick a great room & reserve a couple pool chairs said ”no problem” and switched it. She was amazing. We got a late flight change and asked if we could stay past check out...”sure”. We asked if we could cancel our pool chairs for the last day of our reservation, sure ”there is no charge for that”. The gentleman who worked around the adult pool giving waters was great. He was there so fast if our waters ran out. We loved that we didn't have to reserve chairs by the adult pool. All around a great resort. I dont expect a yes every time but it was shocking how happy they are to please guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. My children and I enjoyed the on-site water park. The rooms were lovely and clean. We plan to make this our go to place to rent. I wish check in was earlier than 6pm but other than that everything was good.

The early building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Hilton's top brand, and it is a worthwhile visit~ First-class environment and enthusiastic service, Wright fans should not miss it! Valet parking is $65 (the car is parked in the open-air parking lot directly opposite the gate) / self-parking must be parked in the back parking lot, about $25 a night. The guy at the door was very frank, introduced both methods, and was decisive to avoid exposure to the sun. The front desk is warm and thoughtful, giving welcome water and a map, finding a room and turning it into a tour, interesting ~ Waldorf Astoria at night seems like a desert oasis isolated from the world, light overflows from the fabric of FLW, and many details can still be found at the beginning The clues... The most interesting thing is that it is said that all the presidents since Hoover have stayed here, but they didn't find Obama and Trump for a long time... ;)

We celebrated 2 friends birthdays over a weekend trip. We had to pay extra to guarantee connecting rooms but it was worth it. The hotel is beautiful with several pools and a water park with a lazy river. The only downside was the bathroom floor and shower area could have been cleaner. But Clara Jane was at the check in desk, she was in training still but did an amazing job helping me. She sent a follow up card to our room and birthday treats for my friends. Great personal touches that mean a lot!! The restaurant choices for dinner were limited as one of them was closed for a few weeks.

I absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are super spacious with nice, updated amenities and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. There is also a great Lounge that always has nice selections for every meal (breakfast is a favorite) along with drinks and snacks until late into the evening. The restaurant has delicious food and the bar is nice and cozy. My favorite part of my stay is always Patty, the delightful woman that works in the lounge. She is just the nicest person and she goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of and happy. She is always there with a friendly smile at the end of every day. This is my new go-to hotel when I travel to Phoenix for work. Thank you, Marriott but especially, thank you Patty.
