Hotel well located, only 10 minutes driving from Phoenix airport. Big room, clean but poorly equipped. Staff was not very friendly at the limit of politeness.

Had stayed at this hotel before. Liked it well enough to use some of my Choice Rewards Points to stay again May 4, 2022. I had had surgery and needed to get my stitches out (I live about 300 miles away from Dr.). Had a good night-so I thought. A few weeks later I discovered some hitch hikers-BED BUGS!! I'm over 75 years old & had never had this experience before. I called the hotel in June and asked to speak to the manager-he/she was unavailable. Left message with person at desk; was told Mgr. would call back-NOT. Have now contacted Choice Hotels Corporate-the only remedy they are offering me is points on my account for a free night-It is going to cost $1100.00 to get these pests out of my house. My advice-don't stay here or you may take hitch hikers home with you.
