The sofa is dirty and smells bad. After all, it is a self-catering apartment, so there is no need to expect extravagant accommodation.

It lacked a bit of cleaning, there was a stain on the floor. Reservation for 4 people, and one bed was not made (sofa) and another did not have a duvet. Very easy checking and checkout. Very kind in the previous telephone consultations before arriving at the hotel. There were complimentary coffee capsules. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Sufficient room size.

The Oliver apartments met our expectations because it was what we were looking for: a stay in the northwest area of Madrid to go to Segovia, visit relatives in Las Rozas and the apartments are correct with a good space for four people in my case, with a kitchen for have breakfast, with public parking in the immediate vicinity, with shops and restaurants nearby, quiet and safe area and with a light rail stop one minute from the hotel that allows connecting with the L10 subway to be in the tourist center of Madrid in about 35-40 minutes. The only drawback is that the cleaning is fair, the water from the showers runs out if you are not very careful and there is no space for clothes if four people are traveling as was our case

The Oliver is ok...but only ok. Saved by the really helpful cleaning supervisor and security man! Check in is automatic by machine  after you've received a text message. It works, but after a 6 hour drive you have to tackle " COMPUTER  says NO " and only read my passport on the 5th attempt! The good stuff... Room was clean. Location was good.  2 minutes walk to train. Restaurants and bars nearby. Bad stuff. Don't believe it when the website tells you about the kitchen! It's UNBELIEVABLY  basic. No knife to cut a tomato or piece of cheese... no corkscrew... no kettle, no bottle opener.. Totally under equipped. We were there for 5 nights. 2 adults..  We got no replacement bin bags, bins not emptied..  2 toilet rolls!  1 bath and one hand towel each. To last 5 DAYS!  I know it is self catering... but seriously.. I have never had to replace bin bags or toilet rolls in any accommodation EVER. There is a washing machine and drier in the basement entrance to the carpark...  But who has time on a mini break to wait 1.5 hours to wash and dry your towel daily?  Our bathroom floor flooded with each shower so we were lucky! We texted the invisible receptionist to let them know about the flooding and were sent towels so we could mop up! We paid the same price for each night.. So in my logic that means we should get the same service every night.  The other big problem is the thin walls. We could hear every word and sound from the neighbours rooms. There is a cleaning lady on site a few hours a day. She was amazing and embarrassed by the mean attitude of the owners. They are VERY lucky to have her! Also the man who works on maintenance. Last gripe. To enter,  one must punch in a 7 digit code...  But ANYONE can walk into to building via the car park.  In 5 days.. the doors were never closed. Security was a joke. A bit annoying when we had paid extra for secure parking!! We chose The Oliver because it was near family we were visiting for Christmas. For that reason it was ok, but next time we visit them we will stay in a place where the owner is not a miser. We found our Christmas Scrooge!

Check in is complicated. The same day they send you the instructions to check in to wasa. They give you a code number that you have to enter to access the building. Once inside there is a machine to register. Follow the steps it tells you. It gives you trouble scanning the DNI, and you have to end up typing all the DNI data. It is indicated that there is a 24-hour reception. It is not correct. The apartment as such is fine. The bed is comfortable. The bath linen is made of good cotton. The kitchen is equipped and has all the basics. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer and you have gel in the shower. The sink faucet has such pressure that water comes out. Be careful you get wet. The only flaw I see in these apartments is that you can hear everything and when I say everything it is everything. If you are a light sleeper I don't recommend it. It has bars nearby and is next to the light metro 2, which is one stop from the University of Somosaguas and connects you with the suburban train at the Aravaca station that leaves you in Atocha. light rail 2

Very clean, easy to do check-in right there at a co ATM. A code that they provide you, the parking is very good, the price is quite good, 70 euros per night, normal and very quiet area, no noise, comfortable even to leave as well as to enter

The apartments are well located. Clean and organized, the staff in charge is quite attentive, the bathroom and kitchen are quite functional, the beds and sofa are comfortable. The pillows have also been sufficient. The refrigerator, I was surprised, was medium sized, giving the possibility of shopping.

Apartment with the smell of tobacco including the sheets; We asked to be changed and it was impossible as they were full all weekend. They told us that they were going to give us an ozone device but it didn't change anything, in short it was expensive and it smelled like Rufo tobacco on the weekend. I had to take sheets from a relative's house and an air freshener and I still continued to smell like tobacco.

We stayed with 2 children, one of them 2 years old. The apartments are correct, without many pretensions, but cleanliness is not one of the things that I would highlight as positive. The check-in system is the problem: When we arrived, at 10:00 p.m., the machine was blocked with other clients and they took time to solve it. We took the opportunity to have a drink at a nearby bar and on the way back we could check-in but the cards were badly coded. And there came the problem. Waiting for more than 30 minutes and they did not pick up the 24-hour service phone, being 11:00 p.m. with small children. I honestly don't recommend it.
