Even for a Guayaquil born Ecuadorean like me, it is a discovery to stay at this amazing hotel, since the entrance and welcomed greeting from the friendly staff ( who speak English good enough to do their jobs) I can still smell and taste the infusion refreshing towel and cold shot of sone spice that’s transport you to a “relax mode”. The rooms are modern with colonial touches that makes the environment let’s say upscale. The food is just delicious local food but fushion, for a sophisticated palate without a doubt! The breakfast( every day something different)with traditional and regular dishes it’s delicious. The room amenities are perfect ( if you need something else just ask for it) the towels, pillows sheets, robes, etc, etc, etc. excellent quality. The surrounding are very colorful and relaxing with a trail for a small zoo and a boardwalk to a river deck where you can feel the breeze and appreciate the views of the Guayas River, they also have kiosks with local and handmade products. El Hotel del Parque is definitely a experience more than just a stay.
