3 Star Hotels in St Ives

The hotel and the setting are really wonderful. The linen was very luxurious and made all the difference to my nights sleep - so much so I told the Receptionist! Room was 'bijou' but very comfortable and well thought out so everything was there - love a hotel that thinks about placement of electrical sockets! The majority of staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful but if there was one small minus it was the staff in the evening serving the meal. They did their job. They were not particularly warm or helpful and when we came to settling our bill the poor receptionist had to deal with several queries all as a result of the evening staff being fairly haphazard in their charging!!.

I think this place get a bad rep beyond what it deserves. It was £116 for a sea view room in the summer in St Ives! The 2nd cheapest hotel in the area that night was £238. Is it budget? Yes! But was it value for money? YES!! Perfect location , friendly staff. Asked where I could buy bottled water, no issues in fetching me one free of charge from the fridge. Don’t book if you want the Ritz, but if you want affordable value for money hotel, in a cracking location, then book this place.

First timers to St Ives for new years and it didn’t disappoint! The reviews are correct, family orientated celebrations with lovely locals (many travel to stay for new year) Our accommodation was perfect, great location and fantastic views of the coast line. Lorena and Dan are hospitable and friendly, great hosts. Our room was roomy and well equipped. Only thing missing for me was a decaf option for coffee but in fairness if I had asked I am sure it would have been accommodated. Towel were soft and fluffy, smelt like home unlike most hotels. They also provided hair straightener's which was a bonus! Situated 10 minutes from the harbour so prefect to explore but be mindful of a very steep climb back. Would we stay again… ABSOLUTELY! And would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I loved waking up to the beautiful sea view in the morning. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. While it's not right in the center of town, the bus stop is just a few minutes away, making it very convenient to get around.

We had 2 nights here, 11-13 July. We arrived late, between 10-11pm, and the counter staff was very friendly n helpful. We did not manage to get dinner due to train delays but the front staff was kind to inform us that we could purchase some cold sandwiches and he would make sandwiches for us. 😊 The room price includes breakfast for which we were glad. We enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly. The views from the hotel overlooking the St Ives beach is truly amazing. The hotel grounds were immaculately maintained. You must walk through their walled garden … it is well landscaped and very beautiful. It felt like walking in some professionally well curated botanical garden. 👍🏼
